Oh my goodness, diane, that made me chuckle!! It's true, though--I feel like it's hard to concentrate on much else today! Bees...that was one bizarre eighth inning--but there's still 54 more! Gotta give credit to your Yanks, rose--they get down to it, when push comes to shove!

Well.....THAT was painful.... But I'm not sitting around in self pity. No sirree! I have on a fresh Ranger shirt and I'm getting geared up to go another round with those da- ......those ev- ....the enemy! (not YOU, rose...just your fellas!! ) Knew it was too early to call it in the 7Th....man were we excited until the 8Th! So many towels swinging I swear I was whopped in the face 100 times! I have a picture to share, but I don't have a clue a clue a clue as to how to post it. Anyone care to share their technical knowledge? I don't have a URL and don't know how to get one either. I know, I'm lame! Thanks for the funny You tube post diane! Hilarious, but I can so totally relate! I can't focus on anything but the Rangers! It's even screwed up my golf game....well, that might just be an excuse for poor golf..... Now, as far as the wagering....jpen, I'd like an orange giants t-shirt...they look good on TV!! I don't have a player preference, but might by the time we get to that point....woops...knockknockknock...no jinx...... Good luck everyone! Uh---almost everyone!! Love ya Rose!

Talk about the cruelest........I've got to work......from 3:30 to 9:30 --
I am about jumping out of my skin. I have my boss's word that I can leave as soon as my trainees are finished......hope we've got the smart ones in today!! Otherwise, I will be hanging out in the employee lounge. Thank goodness the national league games have switched to FOX.
Anyway....good luck to all (especially the Rangers and the Phillies.....hehehe)

Arrrrrgggh! It is not happy here in my city!
But game 1 is a good indication as to what a good match-up these games between the Phils and the Giants are going to be.
Congrats to the Rangers..... didn't see the game, but I loved the score!
Congrats to the Giants.......just know, tomorrow is another day, and my boys aren't called the Fightins for nothing!
That said, if anyone knows who stole the Phillies' offense, could you please persuade them to return it by 8 PM tomorrow? Philadelphia will be eternally grateful!

Thanks for the congrats, diane, though I have to say, the game was not at all what I expected considering Halladay and Lincecum's last starts--I thought it would be 1-0 Phils. Cody Ross is my hero! But as you said, tomorrow is another day, and the Giants are going to need to have their A+ game on if they want to stay in it. And bees...yay for the Rangers! Rose, I know your Yanks will give 'em a fight, back in NYC!

The Fightin's indeed...well-played, diane, well-played. Roy Oswalt is one tough cookie!! I said we'd need our A+ game on, and unfortunately, we brought our C- one. Dang! Oh, and speaking of missing offenses...Cody Ross would very much appreciate it if his teammates could recall the formula for converting base hits into runs. It's gonna be interesting to see how things go on the Left Coast... Good luck tomorrow, bees and rose!

Yeah, how 'bout our little Roy (that's how they differentiate them...big Roy and little Roy..hehe). Not only a great pitcher, but a hitter and a baserunner!!! Who knew!
I think both the pitchers and hitters are being very patient with the umpiring. In both games, the home plate umps had inconsistent strike zones. Sure makes it hard for the guys to know what is what.
Did you see the stat that FOX showed about Cody's homeruns? They put him in a category with Babe Ruth for home runs in the postseason. WOW! Maybe the Phils need to figure out why they keep throwing him that pitch!!
So...coming attractions: as Bees said.......throw open the gates......my boys are coming to your house!
And to look forward to tomorrow.......Cliff Lee........boy, do I love baseball!
