I watch some episodes from Season 5,and I love, the last sence on "Plastic Fantastic Lovers",when David says to Maddie, that she don't need a plastic surgeon, beacuse she was beautiful, not only outside, but also inside.
David:You are so beautiful. (Maddie smiles) David:Not only outside,(he points to his chest)here too.
Oooooooohhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!

I saw this kiss too, in this musicvideo on the davidandmaddie homepage ( I think it is "More then you ever know). I wasn`t sure if it was real or if it was just my imagination and that it only looked like a tongue kiss. I like it too, but it is also a little bit strange, as actors normally don`t kiss with such an intensity. (am I wrong??) But still, makes the whole relationship between them look so real!

It makes it more real, yes, and I dont think actors usually do that. I can zoom and slowplay on my dvd, so Im sure it did happen. I probably would have preferred it to happen earlier, when they both where single in real life. =)

The dream scene you're speaking of in Tracks of My Tears, is a homage to an unforgettable scene in the movie Body Heat - starring Kathleen Turner and William Hurt. This movie had basically the same scene where he is standing outside the double doors with all the wind chimes tinkling - both starring heatedly at each other through the glass. He finally breaks down the doors and goes to her-passion ensues. I think it works very well with David and Maddie. And was dying when I originally saw the episode. I was saying, 'this is just like Body Heat!'. And another thing....Bruce and Cybill have always said that even though they lost their tempers with each a lot - that there was an intense chemistry between them from the beginning. And I'm sure they had no qualms about tongue kissing.

An interesting thing in "Blonde on Blonde" is that David can tell Maddie is upset long before Maddie does.
When Maddie's in the office, she at first tries to brush him off and not say anything at all; then she heads off into the kick about how she wants to find somebody, and you know the rest. Maddie acts like she's really happy and excited, but somehow Dave can see quite the opposite is true under the surface.
He knows her better than she knows herself.
Just as she was able to figure out he needed help even though he was too stubborn to say it in "The Son Also Rises" and "Big Man on Mulberry Street," here David is the one who saw through the facade to what was really going on.

One recurring thing that I have noticed is that when David is in trouble or upset (or feeling insecure?) about something, who is the first person he turns to? Yep, Maddie. In "Brother Can You Spare A Blonde", his brother turns up unexpectedly and who does he want by his side to meet Richie? In "Witness" whose bedroom does he break into? Who does he look for in the garage? And again I noticed in "The Son Also Rises" he tells Maddie in the bathroom that he "needs her to stay". And then he seeks refuge in her car in the garage. I'm sure there are a few more examples of this, but it just struck me as interesting because he constantly ribs Maddie that she has noone else in her life and has to be in bed by 9.30 etc! So despite his bravado and outward appearance, it's Maddie who he feels he can turn to. Bless.

Just read the comments about the kiss in Tracks of my Tears. You're so right Willisfan that most actors don't kiss using tongues in scenes, but I've noticed that Bruce and Cybill did!! :-)
I thought it was interesting during the DVD Commentary of Atomic Shakespeare, Bruce and Cybill said that when the scene called for them to kiss, they always did, even when they could have got away with pretending... Cybill also said that she always laughed when Bruce kissed her too!! Since hearing that, I've seen her trying not to laugh several times!

Having just rewatched both The Pilot and Knowing Her, I was struck by the way David is with the police. In the pilot he uses his one phone call to order pizza and in KH he is heard coming down the corridor telling the cop that it is a tough question but he'll have to get back to him on the name of the Jetson's maid. This guy is on a different wavelength to most mortals who would be on edge in an unfamiliar environment like a police station. I think it just enhances his appeal! He's definitely got style!!

My favourite David moment is in Father knows last "love her - I would give my life for her"
David is 100 % heart, impossible not to love him. Make's you realise what life is really about folks.
"I said a prayer for you"

I'd love to get this thread going again, folks! You with me?
I've been thinking of this very subject recently, and I came up with an absolute favorite David moment--in Maddie's Turn to Cry, when he's explaining to Maddie matter-of-factly why he doesn't have furniture. It just tickles me every time! "I generally, ah, do most of the entertaining in the bedroom...ahm...I dunno I'm not here that much." Then he becomes the ebullient host, offering peanut butter, cheese, and a trunk to sit on. Finally, a welcoming remark: "Well, this is great...I'm glad you stopped by; I've been meaning to have you over."

Hey, that's a great thread, I wonder why I never posted here So... about Mr Addison.. there are so many moments: I always loved the scene in Maddie's office from "The Next Murder you'll Hear" when David comes to her to apologize. There's an overlapping dialogue and then Maddie explains why she's changed her mind about Paul. David's face is priceless and then he looks at her and says: "alright, you won." I just love the way he looks at her - he cares so much! *sigh* I'll be back with more moments later! P.S. Witness, the scene you've mentioned is really brilliant! I love shy David

Three scenes stick out for me: 3. When he meets Sam at Maddie's door in "Blonde on Blonde." 2. At the bar in "The Next Murder You Hear" where he realizes he's jealous of Maddies attraction to a dead Paul McCain. 1. When David is finally out of jail and is confronted by Mr. Hayes in "Father Knows Last" while having lunch. Ok....a tie for my #1... 1. The end of "Cool Hand Dave II." David arrives home from jail...begins to pack for Chicago and listens to Maddie's message on his answering machine, not once, but twice. And then he unpacks......

Ohhhhh the answering machine scene is brilliant - breaks my heart every time.. Okay, here are more moments from me: #1 "Next Stop Murder": David touches Maddie's hair while they're discussing the situation (murder) on the train. He does it so naturally.. as if he couldn't help himself.. so super sweet #2 "All Creatures Great and not so Great": David is half asleep on the sofa while Maddie is still going through the case, and then she finds what she's looking for and goes to David, wakes him and shows him the recording in the book - if you watch carefully you'll notice how David embraces her hand as if accidentally - soooooo gently *sigh*

Hmmm...so many to choose from...
I would have to start with one of my favorites...When Maddie is coming back to Blue Moon after being in Chicago. That first time when their eyes meet across the room....ahhhhh....swwwwwooooooonnnn. David and his eyes!!! Then a minute later it all goes to hell...but I try to forget that part. ;-)
