I am not assured "I'm a Man" by The Yardbirds

David: "I'll get you back."
Sam: "I know you will."
--Very sharp exchange, as Sam pays for the tab in the restaurant, in "Sam and Dave." We get the impression he's not really talking about the money.

"It'll be just the three of us: you, me, and your car."
--to Bert in "Blonde on Blonde," as Dave has to bum a ride to go catch up with Maddie. This line is so loopy and delivered with such weird believability--he really tries to sell it to Bert as some exciting spy adventure!--it cracks me up every time.

Does felt feel? Do dice die? (From Money Talks, Maddie Walks)
Does a picket fence? Do maths majors multiply? (Not sure which episode)
Also "I'm a Man" is by Spencer Davis Group not Yardbirds- I"m just a sixties music junkie!

From "The Lady in the Iron Mask":
"We're a team. We're partners. Now. Forever. Come on. That first clump of dirt on my coffin--I want it to be thrown by you."
***
From the pilot, after the pawn shop clerk tells him the watch doesn't work:
"The plot thinnens."

Just rechecked my video tapes of Tale in 2 Cities (easily accessible as all ML tapes should be! Ha! Ha!) The version of "I'm a Man" used is definitely the Spencer Davis Group one so maybe TV.com should check again. Sorry to be such a pedant but as I said I am a sixties music junkie!

Well, it is one of my least favorite episodes of all time. I don't want access.
If you want them to change the listing, send them a note.
If you are that much of a music buff, shouldn't you have known anyway?
In any event, I'm erasing my post. There's no point.

Woh! Sorry Queensgirl, didn't mean to seem rude. I agree - this is also one of my least favourite episodes and I was only being facetious suggesting that it was easily accessible. I am a music buff but I was starting to second guess myself which is why I double checked. After all, the original reason I posted this was so that Nurok could find the song mentioned.

To get back to the task at hand - namely favourite sayings of David Addison. I always liked the scene in Bride of Tupperman where he says "That would make him the biggest bigamist in bigamy history. Try saying that fast three times!"

It doesn't matter, I am totally confused at this point, and as I said, from now on it's just quotes and opinion things for me. Last time I make this mistake.

Let us all please take a deep breath.....in fact, in the words of David Addison......"That's what I'd do".
DavidandMaddie.com is the happy site........let's all be respectful, and enjoy our camaraderie.
Carry on with the fun stuff!

I laugh out loud when he says, "Hey lady, wanna lick my mail?" I crack up just thinking about it.

Heiress Human Maddie:And here we are, why does this keep happening? David: The same reason Christmas keeps happening, because it's terrific, that's why. I love this episode Money talks Maddie walks David: Touch me...Your right if it's really love it's worth waiting for Maddie: I need a drink. David: Absolutely we're a team I'm the brains, she's the muscle.

Read the Mind...See the Movie
Maddie is getting in the car leaving SRT Industries and David is trying to give her advice. I always crack up when I hear him day "Guy to girl...outie to innie". I think that is hysterical.
Lady in the Iron Mask
David telling Maddie that when a girl says "Let's be friends" it is "female for no kissy, no touchy, no horizonty". That is so classic Addison.
