Hazel,
This is really great. A great song to use....love that is is so different from the romantic ballads usually used.
It is so amazing.....the advances are so great. I remember Cindy and I doing the first two ML videos for this site...we spent weeks plotting and planning and several days in the video studio, with a genius editor to help us!
I am sure my dinosaur of a computer wouldn't support the newer software, but I am sure enjoying the productions I have been seeing!

Thanks, Diane! I'm still very much learning this software after working so long on a PC, so these videos are great practice. It's frustrating sometimes, but also a lot of fun. Thanks again for the feedback-- it means a lot!

Pray tell, what software is it? For this video, I used only iMovie, which isn't so challenging unless you're used to working on Vegas with a PC. It's a bit of a battle against my instincts with the different software. For my previous video (Uptown Girl), I used iMovie and then moved into Final Cut Express because it was transition heavy. This one was intentionally stripped down, so I kept it in iMovie.

I'm so inspired by the projects you guys do here, that I'm seriously thinking about doing something myself But I have no idea what software I should use.... You say iMovie is ok?

You say iMovie is ok? iMovie is very basic software for Mac, but you can do plenty with it, IMO. If you have a PC, you'd be looking at different software. There's usually some editing software that comes bundled with the computer like Movie Maker, which is comparable to iMovie. I used to use Vegas on my PC, which is expensive, but I had access to it because of my husband's business, which is also how I got Final Cut Express. There's a learning curve involved with all of these software programs, but there are also lots of tutorials on YouTube that can be quite helpful in demonstrating how they work.

Hazel, somehow I had missed the Denial Twist video. That was so great. I love your Uptown Girl video too. It's one of my favorites.
