That is very interesting information.....and would make quite a few ML fans very happy. Can you share where you read this information? Thanks. Sure can and here's the link: www.inquisitr.com/15157/possible-moonlighting-reunion-movie/Now I've noticed that the article was dated back in 2009 (which you probably already read) and as you can see it talks about how Cybil and Bruce and even Glenn (quoting here)..."...was hot about the idea." Now I'm thinking HOT as in great idea OR HOT as in getting pissed off about people asking him about this. However, four years have past since that article came out and...well...maybe the idea has faded away into the sunset. Like an old western movie or something. MOST articles that I've found about the possibilty of a "Moonlighting reunion" (via http://www.google.com) were dated from 2006-2009 so I'm starting to agree that this is a failure. Oh and here's the link to that "script" part that I mentioned: www.contactmusic.com/news/shepherd-confirms-moonlighting-reunion_1004864 (I know, the article was dated back in 2006 but...) By the way, I read your interview with Glenn, which was dated back to about what...2002? After reading it, it seemed like he could careless what WE wanted OR thought about a reunion. That's what I got out of it. You guys (Cindy and Diane) did a great job asking those tough questions but despite his love for the program..."let it go" was more of his attitude. After that, I read your interview with Cybill and she was eagered to do a reunion. Now that Bruce is "on-board" so to say...it's all a matter getting it done. However, that was years ago and this is what now...2013. Anyways, you guys did such a great job with this site as I'm going through it for the first time but I guess that they (the celebrities) don't care about what the fans what. It's sad. By the way, my apologies for the "OLD" links.

Hi sorry for the delays between responses TTM - I haven't been around for awhile so I need to get in the habit of checking the boards again. I love your enthusiasm - I too read that article (around the time of starting this thread lol) and your excitement for the movie is rubbing off on me . Of course I would love to see a reunion movie - I wonder what stopped it? I guess it could have been any one of them or might not have got funding? This site is truly awesome - enjoy reading all of the articles, they're fascinating. Have you discovered the top 6 episodes thread yet? There's some wonderful responses on there from various members. BMS Hello! No I have not checked the "Top 6 Episodes" thread yet. Can you link me to it because I couldn't find it. ;D Well, my enthusiasm came when I recently went online to see if that "rumor" was true...if Cybill and Bruce really hated each other. Then I came across this website and thus started watching the episodes on YouTube. I did watch them on Bravo back in the late 90s and yes...the "claymation" characters I remember too. To answer your question (even though you wasn't really asking me but...), I honestly think that Glenn is not interested and YES I agree with him in terms of Hollywood taking over the film making it "look bad". What got me was that "script" that was supposedly being written, which I'm sure is in the garbage. I know (based on the articles) that Bruce, Cybill and now Glenn would love to do the reunion and there are NO articles saying otherwise. Also, funding would not be a problem...but that's just my opinion. If I was writing the script, I'd focus on "The Anslemo Case".

Just found this thread; here's my 2 cents:
90 min tv movie...
Opens, Maddie getting made up in her home, getting dressed up. Obviously unhappy. She's getting dressed in black. Somebody- a regular character from the 80's series has died. Maybe McGillycuddy...( Didn't he die once before? Ha!)
Maddie, while still a major stakeholder of Bluemoon Agency, is no longer involved in the day to day operations. She has remade most of her lost fortune, lives a comfortable upper class life in Los Angeles. Agnes runs the agency; it has become extremely successful, frenetic, busy. Burt Viola is still involved, and while Agnes has become a business smart succcessful investigator ( at times embarrased by her naive beginnings at Bluemoon) Burt is still bumbling and overly ambitious. His character has not changed much.
Maddie drives to the agency. The car is a Bmw 700 series. Modern. We see her thru the window in classic moonlighting framing. She parks in the garage. Next scene is elevator opening. We see her feet in heels. She walks to office. Opens door. It is busy but the office is sad.
Agnes now uses Maddie's office. They go behind closed doors after brief, familiar reunion. We remain viewing the lobby area of office. Burt makes some passing comments to coworkers about atmosphere in office. Today is the funeral. The mood is so heavy, he laments for the days when "Mr. Addison was still here."
Camera pulls back, David Addison is standing in the doorway' behind Burt's back. It is clear in his body language that only the death of a friend has brought him back. He has been estranged for 20 years, living in Philadelphia. "Call me Dave, Burt" he says, trying for affirm his cool nature, but he is tense, nervous. "Is she here?..."

Hi stuckdiesel, nice to meet you. Love your ideas for a reunion - that's a great idea to get them in the same room together. Like the idea of his life being on hold without Maddie and would like to see his killer vulnerability as it's always so hot on David.
