I rember in the 5th Season in the episode:"Take my Wife,For Example" when David give to Maddie a pearl necklace, she gives to him a romantic kiss, that is my favourite part,I have that episode record,I watch that part many many times.
One of my favorite Maddie moments is the hotel room scene where she explains to David why she followed him to New York in "Big Man in Mulberry Street".
I love that scene, vulnerable Maddie moments. She was great in Every Daughter's Father is a Virgin. The scene where she's hitting him with her purse, then the last scene with him in the hotel had tears in my eyes.
I love the part in "witness for the execution", when she says to him: Come here stupid and starts to cry. And he promises to call and write and she says that it`s not that, the reason she cries is, that he smells awful. Was not very nice, but I like it.
This is not so much an instance as a strange fact.
Ever notice that even though Maddie was supposed to be from Chicago, they never made her sound like that?
I'm aware she had been living in Los Angeles for quite some time, but still, by comparison Dave actually talks like he's from Philadelphia (not a stretch since the actor in question grew up in Jersey), whereas Maddie sounds like...she has no noticeable accent at all.
There's a great scene in "The Man Who Cried Wife" where Maddie is looking down the hall, waiting for David to come into work. She has told him not to go back to look into the case, and of course that's where he went, but she goes and stands out in the hall and just stares at where he would be if he were walking in.
The camera actually follows all the way first from her point of view, from the end of the hall, down around the corner to the doors at the other end, and then very slowly back again, which would be Dave's point of view if he were on the way in[/b].
The shot perfectly emphasizes that the place is otherwise completely empty. Maddie just sighs and leans on the doorway, and looks utterly lonely.
Shows exactly what she's thinking, without any words at all.

Well, the best moment is, i think, in 'Witness for the execution' in garage. I taped that episode and I always watch that part. It's great. I love also those scenes when they are fighting. For example when they talk at the same time (actually when David finishes her sentences). And those endings of fightings. "Fine! Fine! Good! Good!" I just love them. Oh, and Maddie is great in scenes when there are some marks about Davids afairs, girlfriends or something like that. I was quite sad for example in Sleep Talkin' Guy when she was waiting for David in the restourant but he was solving another case. I just can't forget her expression when she realised that he won't came..
