Bloopers may not be the correct word for it, but I can't think of the correct word. You know how, in some movies, there are glitches, or mess-ups, in the same setting, as the scene cuts back and forth? For example, a shirt may change to a different shade color and then back again as the camera goes back and forth between two people talking. Well, there's a moment like that in this episode. *spoilers* If you watch the car ride as Dave and Maddie are driving to the second kidnapping scene, right before the van blows up, take a real close look at the necklace that Maddie is wearing. The necklace has multiple strands that are woven together and held tightly. Well, as the camera jumps back and forth, the strands of the necklace loosen and then tighten back up, and back to loose again. It's very noticeable. And funny

yeah kind of like in Witness where David's shaving foam has an amazing capacity to appear and reappear when he is talking to Maddie in the office? (Please tell me I have right episode!) Or, at the end of Atlas Belched, is clearly not Maddie's hand that reaches into the bin to get the business card - watch is on the wrong wrist!
Ok little paranoid now that I may have got these wrong, hope i'm right! They are funny!

I believe what you are describing are called "continuity errors." You see these a lot of times due to the rushed nature of filming and editing TV series. However, films have them too...although usually not quite as many as the average TV show does.

I just finished watching "Witness" and that is the episode with the shaving cream. Wow! That was really here and there.

I think that the most obvious sign of continuity errors in the entire series is Maddie's hair. Once you start focusing on it, you can tell how scenes have been edited. As for the necklace in this epi, it seems that the strand is loose in the drive and talk scenes. Those obviously were filmed on the same day. The necklace is tight in all the location shots where they are getting in and out of the car. Not only is the necklace different in the drive/talk vs. the location scenes, but so is Maddie's hair. I think the most noticeable difference is between the "de-Daved" scene and the following ones. Her hair is very smooth and flatter than she usually wears it when she walks into the office that morning, but it changes a couple of times over the course of the day. It's fun to watch!!
