This is too funny, ryangie. Today I received my copy of the pilot (which I got for the commentary) and I said to myself, "This is better than great. It's great, great!" It's amazing the effect Moonlighting has on our language usage. Anyway, this is fantastic news. I jumped up and done like a crazy person when I first found out and I said to my daughter, "I am really excited. " She said, "Yeah, I can see that."

It's amazing the effect Moonlighting has on our language usage. I'm not ashamed to admit this : in the supermarket yesterday my Mum asked me if I'd like some chocolate. Now talk about a stupid question, so across a somewhat crowded aisle, I answered her with "Do bears bear? Do bees be?" She cracked up laughing, and then I thought, I wondered if anyone else says ML things in everyday conversation. I'm feeling reassured now!!

Babyhayes, I can just imagine you standing in Foodtown or New World, saying that! Hysterical!!

Hi Babyhayes, I've been a member of this board since Aug. and was just waiting for the perfect opportunity to post something for the very first time to someone. Looks like your post is the lucky winner. LOL!! Not only is it hysterical that you yelled that across a supermarket, but it's one of my favorite Davidisms (hence my screen name). I use it at work all the time, but sadly a lot of my employees (except one or two) are too young to remember Moonlighting let alone have watched it. So, they think it's just something I made up. So, you keep quote those Davidisms across crowded rooms. You're bound to find SOMEONE who gets it.

Hey Dobearsbear!!! Thank you for your message - glad that my random Davidism has brought your first post! ;D I was wondering whether or not to share that supermarket thing with everyone here, and then I realised if I can't share it here, then where can I share it?! And yes I will keep the ML quotes going in crowded places because they keep me entertained. In fact, I should set myself a target of how many quotes I can say in one day.

Hey, just think, when Season 3 comes out on DVD in Feb., it'll give you (and the rest of us) a whole new set of Davidisms to shout out at will. I mean, I know I've forgetten a lot of them since I haven't seen a lot of these eps. since they first aired some 20 years ago (God, I'm getting old).

Yeah, there's going to be a whole range of new stuff to start using - YEAHOOO!!! Bring on Feb 7th!!! I expect it's possible to have a whole conversation with someone using only Moonlighting quotes and phrases, yes I think I might try this... (Ok I need to get out more)

It is VERY possible to use ML quotes in a whole conversation. When I was in college, friends for mine and I had a whole conversations using quotes from the movie "Spaceballs". What was funnier was that another friend (who came in the middle of the convo) had NO idea what the rests of us were talking about. He was like "Ok, it was all in English, but I didn't understand a single word any of you said." Come on Feb. 7th!! I even marked it on my Yahoo calendar! (Now who needs to get out more. )

My dear ML fans!!! I don`t want to wait anymore. I was so lucky to finally get a possibility to watch my Season 1 & 2 (thought first I`ll have to wait til next summer) and now there are only 4 episodes left, that I haven`t seen yet. So sad. I`m so looking foward to see the next episode (witness for the execution), but then also the last DVD is soon finished and I have to wait at least 3 more month. I hope at least that the release date is for sure the 7th. Yours Silke

Just checked my e-mail this morning, and here's some more information on the Yr. 3 DVD release, courtesy of TVShowsonDVD.com. It has details on the extras and the box set cover art. Once again, the back cover photos aren't all from the same season...what is that all about? Oh well, only 71 more days to go.

woohoo! The long awaited reunion of Cybill and Bruce. Looks like they're finally going to appear on screen together ;D I'm a little disappointed that it doesn't look like there are going to be any outtakes, deleted scenes. Oh well I'm still thrilled to be getting season 3!
