I think we should start a new thread in the 'general' section, as it's not really relevant in this thread.
What epsode is the Barry Manilow song from?
How about if you list the songs you posted and I'll do the ones I did?

Oh right, I think I've only seen that one once, which is why I didn't remember it.
I'll go and start the thread off.

I was always disappointed that the song"Be My Baby" from the episode " I am Curious...Maddie? was never put onto the show's soundtrack. That song was pivotel to the show's history, peoplz, come on!!!
I got the sountrack, but only on tape when it originally came out in '87. but after my local TV station pleasently recently repeated some eps I decided to get the cd and can I tell you I've been playing it NON-STOP since I got it home. It's so cool.
At easter I took series1+2 up to my parents to watch and I made them watch "Dream Seaquence Always Rings Twice" which they enjoyed. After watching that episode my Dad said "I didn't know Cybill could sing". It's such a cool episode.

Cindy and I interviewed Glenn Caron several years ago for DavidandMaddie.com, and actually got the answer for this question. "Be My Baby" was a part of Phil Spector's "Wall of Sound" and he very carefully protected its use. He didn't allow the song to be used in any of the popular compliations of the time. He personally brought the master of the song to ML for use in "I Am Curious", and watched carefully over its usage. You can read Glenn's explanation here: davidandmaddie.com/exclusives/caron4.htm

You know, I purchased a 4 CD set of almost all the songs from the series from Moonlighting Shrine. CD 1 was seasons 1 and 2, CD 2 was season 3, CD 3 was season 4 and CD 4 was season 5. Cost about $35 but was well worth it. I just tried to find it again and post the link here, but I'm coming up empty. Perhaps somebody else has a valid link.
