I think this was one of my least favorite episodes. It was too hectic and crazy and things didn't make sense. How was David getting paid for all his "break-throughs?" Was the DA's office paying him? And, why wasn't the DA's office suspecting him for having some part in all these crimes? It would've been too coincidental.

I agree. I didn't like it much either. The whole plot was a bit ridiculous. Even by Moonlighting standards!

I loved the scene in the bar. Yeah Maddie can throw a punch! haha From what I can remember, I didn't really like the rest of the episode

There were some nice moments in this, but the life of me, all I can remember is the bits with David being hailed as a hero and Maddie not seeing him much! I guess that the lack of interaction between the two of them made it seem lacklustre....

I just watched this episode and I didn't dislike it as much as I used to. It does have a couple of good scenes. Like the one when he comes in with a bottle of champagne to celebrate their 'anniversary' and then asks for a raise. Also, I love the scene later on after he has just 'solved' his first case and she comes into his office - the way she leaves ('fine!' 'fine!' 'good!' 'good!')and slams the door is just hysterical!

That's probably the only part I like, Veronica. Well, I like the end scene too, but this ep is definitely not on the top of my list either.

I like this episode just because of few things: - Maddie punching him in the bar (that was... well.. when that happened I stared with open mouth, couldn't believing) - Maddie waiting him in the restourant (in whole episode it was sad to see their expresions, and to see how they miss each other)

I'm not sure how I feel about this episode, even though I rewatched it a few days ago. It has that season 2- feeling, where M and D are pretending like they are two individuals who can function great without eachother but really can't. Think the anniversary celebration is probably my favorite part, until he storms out from the office. The storming out, slamming door and her yelling "happy anniversary to you too" is good tv. ;D And later when David is asked to do a tv show.. "I think people have had it with detective shows" is also a funny moment I often forget about. That just tells me to watch it more often. Overall not bad, not bad at all. More like a 7/10.

jo...i think that the greatest part of this episode is Maddie throwing a punch to David in the end, sayng that she's not mad...she's livid! ;D ;D ;D and you gave me the occasion of express a doubt: i recently noticed that when M says ''David Addison i respect you so much'' in the shadow, she actually doesn't move her lips...is it possible

Well lucy, that was because the dialogue was dubbed over by the studio. It was kinda funny listening to her without even opening her mouth ;D
This episode has some funny moments, in particular the anniversary scene and David's reaction after storming out of Maddie's office ("Happy anniversary to you, happy anniversary to you, happy anniversary to you, ...") and Maddie's punch at the end. It did have some great music however, both from Pet Shop Boys and Alisha.
Overall, I'd give it a 7.

I don't remember what I rated this episode but I remember it not being one of my favorites. After recently watching it again however I did really like some of the scenes. The beginning anniversary scene of course. I love the scene where Maddie tells David she respects him, and the looks they give each other before she starts talking. I never noticed her mouth wasn't moving however, how funny. I loved Agnes in this episode being the go between. The scene where David asks her if Ms. Hayes said anything about him was so cute. Almost like they were 2 kids in school asking if the other said anything about them. I would rate overall a 7.

Anybody find themselves wanting to tell the "lady of the evening" to back off and stay away from our favorite guy?!
