Hey J-Pen: They'd already seen Lady in the Iron Mask and Next Stop Murder - so I went for 'The Murder's in the Mail'- honestly they love it - they are fast becoming my favourite class ha ha.
Witness: That is sooooo cool! Yes - how indeed do you know friend of Bruce's mom? I'm so jealous ha ha. I bet she's mighty proud of him!

Wow, thanks so much for this, 1987.
We have been contacted over the years by many people who are trying to get in touch with Glenn. Within the last year, I tried to help a group who went to school with Glenn and worked on the college radio station with him. I hope that they were involved in this tribute.
Such a nice honor!

Ooops, I did it again.....
Went to the post office
diane: I want to mail this package. Clerk: First class? diane: any class......classless.....
Total reflex......and then I laughed, and the clerk cast his eyes towards the security guard in the corner.
I didn't even try to explain!

Oops, I just read it again . . . and cackled again. Too much! Love those moments when people just stare at you dumbfounded (or look around for a security guard ). I always have this thought: "Don't say it . . . don't say it," but I'm also ever curious about people's reactions to anything. So I do it anyway and the world just STOPS for a moment.

I just make my ring tones the old school way: I hold my phone up while it's recording and blast the volume on the scene I want to use. Doing this on w/ my computer speakers wth You Tube clips works really well. They sound really great. Witness, on the other hand, being the shrewed devil that she is has some advanced way of downloading them to her phone. It's all fancy & intelligent & I couldn't achieve it

One of my girlfriends is going to go see Cybill in Hello Dolly in NC. I am soooo wishing it was me going to see that musical! But I am hoping she is going to get me a autograph because my friend knows one of the dancers in the show so shes going backstage. Keep your fingers crossed for me getting my autograph!

Don't know if this is the right place for this little bit, but I just want to share the following little scene of my everyday's life: On this hot spring day, I went for a walk with my hub and daughter, wearing a not too long skirt. My husband walked up the stairs behind me and decided to present me with one of his little weird compliments, and he said: "Yes, I am looking up your skirt. - Hey, you should be glad I say this! What's so funny"

So, last night around 10, I was in my usual position for that time of night (when DH is working out of town, that is ) in bed, with my laptop on my knees, watching an episode of Moonlighting. In God we Strongly Suspect, to be exact. In the middle of the scene where they arrive at the funeral home, my 14yo comes in and climbs in to watch with me. (She mostly doesn't get it, but it keeps growing on her) About when he says "This happens to be the smartest grin I own," she says "HEY! That's you and Dad! Now I get why you watch this all the time!" Until she said that, I have wondered how much it was just in my head. It's hard to figure out sometimes, which came first, the chicken or the egg. I was the age she is now when D&M were on TV, doing their thing, setting up the expectations up for me about relationships, I think, permanently...did I seek out a guy that reminded me of David, and then proceed to take my cues from Maddie's way of handling things (some of the time)? or do I just re-watch the spark and identify with it just because they portrayed it so well, so universally? Things that make you go hmmm.

darkbeer,
what a cute story! It made me smile and think 'pheeeew so I'm not the only one having picked out a wise-cracker driving me crazy and always wondering why!' Thanks for sharing!
