Bluemoongirl ~ Ha ha, you're so right! I forgot about the "microphone." And ol' Dave was ahead of his time with the karaoke And after all the kids go to bed, if the adults get a little tipsy, maybe someone can hold a pretzel rod as a mic and belt out R-E-S-P-E-C-T for the crowd! LOL Now that sounds like a fun party!!

It will be a fun party -- if you enjoy a party where the guest of honor will be two and all her little friends are under five! Us adults will all have to drink like David Addison just to get through it!

OK, one other thing. If one more of my friends or family names their little girls "Maddie" I'm going to scream!! I didn't name my daughter Maddie SPECIFICALLY because I didn't want to name MY CHILD after a TV character (not that there is anything wrong with that, I just didn't feel comfortable doing it), but boy, I really wanted to! Just not fair considering my little girl is such a Maddie-Hayes-in-training. And every single girl being named Maddie, their mothers ARE NOT Moonlighting fans, they have no idea!!!!!

Very nice topic guys! Good to know,I'm not alone outhere... A couple of days ago I met a client and guess what,(dont know if I write this correctly)he had a nole in his nose! When he left the office I laught like crazy cause an assistant asked:has the man with the nole in his nose left?I said:yeah,Anselmo just left, you're not the only one who doesn't know him"! Everybody was looking at me like a martian or something, but I couldnt stop laughing. The whole office obviously didn't get it and that made it even more funny...

Two things I noticed while watching telly the other night. 1) Medium - it was the episode where Alison dreams that it is 20 years in the future and Marie is dying of leukaemia. Alison and Joe were driving along and arguing - very David and Maddie. 2) Watching Monk and there was Mrs Tony Shalhoub aka Brooke Adams aka Terri from Season 4. IMHO she was one of the highlights of Season 4. You just can't escape Moonlighting references/influences - they're everywhere!

Chris ~ Are you saying that the guy with the mole on his nose is named "Anselmo?" If that's what you meant, oh my goodness that's TOO funny! For me, at work, I had an "Mr. Anselmo" moment. Last year, I had to work on a project for an event for a man named Anselmo. The guy, I guess, is a "big wig" and everyone kept referring to him as "Mr. Anselmo." Whenever he was referred to as such, I had a smirk on my face. Someone finally asked me about it and I really couldn't offer an explanation that anyone would understand, because as I have said before, everyone in my office is a Seinfeld freak!! Reading Chris' post reminded me of that

OK, not only do we have a bunch of Maddies in my family, my friend and neighbor just named her baby daughter ADDISON!!! I told her I loved the name (which I do, it is so cute) and I told her I loved it because it was the last name of the character on my favorite show, Moonlighting. She looked at me like I had 3 heads, she never heard of Moonlighting...and looked a little peeved that I mentioned her daughter has the same first name as the last name of a male character! Guess I should've kept my mouth shut I'll blame her reaction on post-partum hormones ;D

So, picture this...I am in my office working and there is a knock on my door. Guess what just comes out of my mouth. "Spit and slide under". You can imagine the question mark on that person's face!

2 things:Today i saw a beer truck driving past me, what was so special about it? It was a truck for Blue Moon Beer! I've actually had the beer before and yes i only bought i cause the name but i never saw the big truck before. It has a huge Blue moon in the background of the name on the truck! Cool huh? Also i have a ML record album purse, i got it off ebay last year and i get asked about it everyday by someone in a store i'm shopping in. They will say "oh i love your purse, where did you get it? I used to love that show!" LOL
