Hi there, I was just wondering at the end of which episode the first collection of out-takes or howlers (I don't know which term is the more appropriate???) does appear ? I remember some episodes containing these out-takes that were usually displayed at the end, during the running of the credits. As they don't appear in seasons 1 and 2, I thought perhaps they are on Season 3(that I'm about to receive on DVD )?? Could you enlighten me about it? Thanks, Anne

Hi Anne, There are bloopers in the credits of an episode in season 3 called 'The Straight Poop'. And then later in season 4's 'Shirts and Skins'. ;D Too bad if it only appears in 2 episodes(but it's good that I have both),is the Season 1 & 2 DVD contains any Bloopers features? And the Season 3 DVD? Still saving more money...
BTW,bluemoongirl,it's on the 5th Season that appears another bloopers on the "Shirts and Skins" episode, and not season 4 ;D

Your gonna love them ,especially the Memories of Moonlighting segment ( which reminds me ,note to Bruce and Cybs DO IT ALREADY!!) ;)anyway even though they don`t talk that much when they do it`s great .Watch Bruces face when Cybill mentions about not likeing being tied up .Also the quality of the episodes are great, Lions Gate have done a brilliant job of cleaning them all up plus you can see David say "i love you" to Maddie in that closing shot of them both in Im Curious..... very clearly.Only trouble is once you start watching them you can`t stop, i was up to the wee small hours watching them ;D Anyway have fun !

Hello girls, I'm back, actually it took me the whole weekend to watch season 3 and yes this season is great but I must admit that there are still a few things I don't understand about the last four episodes ! Firstly, I don't understand Dave's behaviour in "Maddie's turn to cry", Indeed, why doesn't he tell Maddie that he loves her during their intimate scene at his place?? I think it would have been the right moment to reveal his love to her, all the more since at this moment, Maddie clearly expresses her doubts about her new relationship with Sam mentioning that she can't help thinking of Dave and her 'But you and me,etc ..."! Then she starts crying and falls into his arms . Ok , I admit that he woke up with a start and therefore, he still must have his head in the clouds when Maddie comes in and asks him to tell her what was the important thing he wanted to say at the restaurant and it's also true that they actually declare their love to each other but in a reversed way when they say: "I hate you David, I hate you Maddie" this is their own way to say "I love you" but still he should have clearly declared his undying love to her at that moment instead of remaining obstinately silent and thus making a full of himself in the following episode!!! I think that in this scene, Maddie is really giving him a chance to express his feelings, she throws him a line that he doesn't catch, why??? I love this scene though ;D because they are both so cute and touching especially when Dave is clasping her to his heart and when they are kissing each other Moreover, I think this is actually the last scene of this season and the following ones in which they are so close as friends and lovers at the same time!? Secondly, I don't understand Maddie's attitude towards Dave in "To Heiress Human"; What is she so anxious about? Why does she deny her love for him Why does she refuse to start a new relationship with him and therefore to leave with him ?? Some people in this forum think that Maddie has never been in love before which would explain her reaction. I quite agree with this statement ! I think this is the first time she really falls in love with someone, and the fact that right after spending their first night together, she asks Dave what they are going to do next mentioning that he has already been through this before(his marriage with Tess, his long realtionship with Jill,etc...) , is a proof that she has never had any serious love story in the past or lived with someone. So, I feel sorry for Dave in this scene for he seems so happy and also sad to hear that Maddie doesn't want to make their relation work What do you think about it, do you share my opinions? Anyway, I think that Dave/Bruce has never been that so handsome in any other seasons than in this one!! He's so cute with his hair done like this, I mean so short and my favourite episodes remain the first seven ones of this season, from "The Son also Rises" to "Atomic Shakespeare" because they reflect the real spirit of the show that is surrealism and tenderness at the same time!!! Well Anne... There are varying opinions on this forum as to why these characters did what they did during these episodes which continues on until the end of the series. But from a purely subjective point of view, there are several reasons why they happened this way. In reality, Cybill was pregnant. And although these episodes were planned, they were weeks and weeks of delay because of illness and Bruce breaking his collarbone. The whole arc with Sam was to finally bring David and Maddie's tension to a climax. Which at the time, everyone was clammering for. Reality stepped in, and although the series was originally planned to make this turn, they had to change it up in the last two episodes to allow the character of Maddie to not be in the show for most of season 4. Because of this, the character becomes confused about their relationship, pushing David away. So by To Heiress Human, Maddie is upset by the whole thing, and can't see a way to make things work. This conflict allowing Maddie to leave David in the first episode of season 4 and run away to her parents for most of season. Several other things occured during this period - a long industry writers strike, Glenn Caron leaving the show, and actors doing movies contributed to all of the chaos and breakdown of characters and the show. In the scene you mentioned in MTTC, where David and Maddie just say they 'hate' each other - this is just tride and true ML. We know what they mean, but still they don't say the words. They give us what we want and still leave us salivating for more. Very clever writing. In retrospect, as a teen fan in the 80's, I was elated and quite frustrated at the time with the end of season 3 and the rest of the series. But 20 years later, I've decided to remove myself from that - see that the series had to take these twists for reasons beyond their control. And even though, it might be frustrating to watch these two characters struggle with their relationship sometimes, imho, it's useless to try to figure out their motivations. If circumstances back then would have been different, then the whole show would have been different. But alas, we got what we got. Some people might not agree with my opinion. I just look at it for what it is, and still enjoy it all.
