The title says it all, don't you think? Do you agree with me or does this silliness leave you cold? Too much of the boxing? Too hard to accept Maddie as a ring girl at boxing? Too convulated mystery plot? Or just outright hilarious? You decide!

I found it hilarious! The phonebooth scene was awsome! The bom in the car made me LOL. The punch in the end is typical Maddie! And the topic of this episode it's VERY romantic! Aaaw that dress....*dream*

Hands down, this is one of my favorite episodes "evuh!" Definitely on my top 5 list. There are so many things to love about this one... 1.) Opening sequence- get funky w/ The Temptations 2.) Maddie and David's fine/fun talk 3.) The fine evening...love it... sigh 4.) The scene with the FBI agents that include some very funny lines, including "G-man..." and "Officer Deja. Agent Vu." 5.) Maddie right before the phone booth..."They're stealing our stolen car!!!" 6.) The end...Maddie- "You'd hit a girl?" and the "oh, baby" line. IMO, these moments make this episode one of the best. I absolute love it! This has been a favorite of mine since the beginning.

This episode is HILARIOUS! My fave moment is at the symphony, when David throws the wadded up paper at Maddie. Her reaction is priceless-- I giggle just thinking about it.
Yeah, the boxing goes on a bit long, but man, is this ever a funny one.

My husband doesn't watch a lot of Moonlighting with me, but he loved Dream Seq. and this episode. And I didn't really think the boxing was too long, I thought the whole thing was hilarious. Can't wait for Feb. 7th. And how exciting, season 3 is up for discussion!! ;D

"Peace to the world through fights!"
This episode is just hysterical. It is probably my favorite of the series in terms of purely comedic effect. We start out with the very sweet setting of the two of them actually going out on a--hmm, um--date together, like normal people do.
Yet even now, as they're set up for everything, they have to house it in the context of a friendly dare. They can't just admit, I'd like to go out with you. Maddie once said, "It's just that I haven't heard the word boyfriend since the eighth grade." For all their crazy bravado, these people are, dare I say it, downright shy when it comes to saying something in as many words.
But as sure as there is a sun in the sky, David messes it up right and proper. He was trying, with a heart of honest intentions even if his brain wasn't on the same page, to impress Maddie, by getting her good tickets to the symphony for the first half of the nights out. Unfortunately, he got them on the sly. So they're not even sitting together.
This makes our Ms. Hayes pretty well peeved. She refuses to make eye contact with David, to the point where he has to careen out of his seat. A bad start to the evening gets worse.
"Do not speak to me again...in this lifetime..." You could run a small electrical plant off the hate pouring from her forehead at this moment.
And then the boxing match. Dear crimony. David trying to pretend he is someone named "Boogaloo"... Don King being, well, the force of nature that he is... and Maddie having to save the day.
It's just crazy enough to work.
;D

LOVED this episode. I have been waiting to see it for ever so long.
I remember showing it to my dad (when it first aired). I had taped it for him to see, since he worked evenings. Our family are really big classical music fans, so the symphony orchestra sequence was especially enjoyed by us.
I LOVED this episode. I haven't seen it in ages so I'm trying not to review what else has been said here. (I want to see it "fresh" when the DVD comes out.) But I just have to say (one more time!) LOVED this episode!!!

I love this episode too! My favourite bits are possibly earlier in the episode rather than the boxing bits though. The "Fine" evening is just sublime..
"Fancy some bubbly..." Sigh...

This episode was pretty funny. It wasn't my favorite episode, plot-wise, though. I thought it was one of the weakest of Moonlighting so far through season 1-2 and up to this episode of season 3. The plot just seemed kind of off. But, oh well, seeing David jumping around the boxing ring with his shirt off sure helped increase my love for this episode!

I just watched this episode yesterday and have to say: It`s great!! My favourite scene is in the car, when david is talking about a bomb in the trunk and suddenly you see Maddie jumping out of the car and running away. Sooo funny hihi

Oh yeah, that is another great part. It always makes me laugh too. Maddie's also sorta funny when she runs to the car in "The Murder's in the Mail" (the garage scene when David's singing My Girl).
