Is the kiss at the end of this episode a real kiss between Maddie and David? I know most of their kisses in previous episodes weren't "real." Either dream sequence, or pretend... I know there was the infamous garage scene, which was real, but of course they were both in denial that it meant anything.
But, being that there were many pretend things in this episode, it makes me wonder if David and Maddie's kiss was real. It was VERY passionate, it seemed.
I've never seen the rest of Season 3 past this point. Just watched this episode tonight. This episode seems like it would be a great way for Maddie to realize her love for David and have things be different after this point. I'm not sure what is to come. I can't wait to see more! Maybe they'll go on and pretend like this kiss doesn't mean anything, either.

Yes I think this is a real kiss rather than part of Maddie's dream/angelic visitation. Yes, you would think that this would make Maddie realise how she feels... Carry on watching Season 3 to find out!!

I think it was real, although it's strange that it doesn't seem to be referred to afterward in the next bunch of episodes. I was surprised that for all intents and purposes, 'nothing happened' (if you catch my drift) as a direct result of this. (That fact alone surprised a lot of my friends. Some of them wondered if they'd be together after this...and we weren't far wrong, but it wasn't really connected to this moment.) I mean, this isn't your average ordinary smooch. She pinned him like she was trying to win a match in three falls. (After all, she was relieved she hadn't just almost died.) ;D I liked David's "Who cares?"
