Just wanted to mark this day on the board. 21 years ago us fellow bluemooners were waiting to watch this monumental episode. Where has the time gone? I still love it today even more than 21 years ago when i was just a giddy school girl of 17 who couldnt wait for this episode to finally happen. Hope some of us will get to watch if not all of the episode but at least the last 10 minutes and remember *******Also today is my 13 wedding anniversary too YAY

I remember when this was finally getting ready to air, with all of the promos and commercials. I kept thinking that they would bail at the last hour and play a repeat!! I also remember making sure I had my 2 year old daughter at the time tucked in bed and the VCR ready to go! It's weird though watching it now knowing what is in store for the next 2 seasons. I did not have a clue-a clue-a clue back then that the tough stuff was on the way.
Happy Anniversary Rose! I hope you have many more happy years. My husband and I will celebrate 27 years of marriage this August!!

Wow , has it really been that long!!. Now my memory of that momentus event is as clear today as it was 21 years ago. I was 15 and still in Highschool and the one thing that sticks in my memory is the buzz that was going around the school the week leading up to the big bang!! ;D. As luck would have my parents were going out for the evening taking my younger brother with them so it was just me and my sister sat counting the hours down then finally that beloved theme tune sang out and i took the best seat in the sitting room as close as i could get to screen without making my eyes go funny . Watching that episode unfold was like opening presents on christmas morning .OHHH happy days. Oh btw happy anniversary from me to you Rose , I`ve got a ways to go yet my hubby and i will be celebrating 9 years of wedded bliss and 14 years of togetherness this year.

Happy Anniversary from me to, Rose. And you too, Laura. Wow, 21 years since IACM. I will always remember that day clearly. It was my brother's 1st b-day, so we had family over to celebrate. It was a month before my 10th birthday. Crazy. What little kid watches this filth? LOL I remember at 8 o'clock I had to leave the festivities and go in the den to watch ABC. Tuesday's ruled back then...Who's The Boss?, Growing Pains, and Moonlighting. And, yes, my VCR was ready to go. After seeing IACM for the 1st time, all I could do was rewatch it and jump up and down because Maddie and David had made up. I then went into the kitchen to tell my grandma and she was shocked. Needless to say, I, along w/ some friends, weren't really supposed to watch ML anymore after IACM aired. Yeah, that didn't work. I've been one of those "essed" words for way too long to ever give up watching Maddie and David. (btw Beensbears, I know, who knew what was in store after that episode. It seemed so right for them.)

First thank guys for the Happy Anniversary wishes! We had a nice day, we went out to dinner It so nice to see others being married for so long too! YAY for all of us YES Tuesday was a great night for tv back then. I watched it all too and yes those old vcrs were like so important and OMG if your vcr didnt tape it youd just freak out. No Youtube back then to rewatch things. It also is too bad the high from that episode didnt continue till the end of the series. The high didnt last long really at all No matter i still love the show so so much! I didnt have time to watch the full episode last night but i sure made time to watch the last scene SIGH!

Glad you had a nice night, Rose. Oh man, you're not kiddin' about when the VCR didn't work. How about when a tape would get eaten? UGH, that was horrible!!! Although, I think tapes were better than dvd's because if it had a bad spot, you could usually fast forward through it. With DVD's, it seems if there's a glitch, it just won't work at all. Very annoying. Btw, I made sure I watched IACM last night too. Yes, that last scene is the best! SIGH is right!
