I saw Die Hard 3 when it first came out at the movies. Thought Jeremy Irons was a wonderful villain. What is it about upper class English accents that sounds so deliciously evil? Exactly! Maybe that is why Alan Rickman makes such a wonderfully 'good' villain!

Can you believe it! Is Australia copying NZ? Die Hard 2 is on TV here this weekend, Babyhayes. I will finally get a chance to see it - albeit cut to ribbons by ads. Oh well!
As for the whole English accent/villain thing don't get me started on what could be a thesis about the role of the English accent for the bad guys in Disney animated films!!!

I watched Texasville with Cybill last week. I never saw The Last Picture Show which is the first movie. Teaxasville is the sequel. It was pretty good.

I saw Superman Returns last night. It was so great! it was better than i expected it to be. The 2 and 1/2 hours goes by fast. Actress Eva Marie Saint(known to us as Maddie's mom) plays Supermans mom . She is only in it the first few minutes and one scene close to the end. It was nice to see her. I was never really into the Superman movies but went to see it for support of my Uncle who plays Perry White(actor Frank Langella) and also since it was the big hyped movie of the summer and it was worth going to see.

I saw Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (Pirates 2) this weekend. Lotsa fun, lots special effects, lotsa cool stunts....BUT one big set up for Pirates 3.... I am pretty sure I like Pirates 1 better, but still a fun movie worth seeing.

I love Johnny Depp! Think he's terrific so I'll have to see the Pirates movie soon also want to see Superman. Very impressed that Frank Langella is your uncle Rose. He's a great actor.

Thanks Funkycat! He happens to be my mom's brother. I don't get to see him much unfortunately. If he's not filming a movie he is doing plays in London. Where he happens to be now. Go see Superman when it comes out there by you. It was surprizingly good.

I'm watching Superman II, with Christopher Reeve, but I can't wait to see the new Superman. In theaters I watched Poseidon. Didn't like it.

I just went to the movies to see Hoodwinked- the true story about little Red Riding Hood. ;D (wanted to see Walk the Line again, but I'll just wait for the dvd) It was a funny kids-movie with a few surprises about the Wolf, Granny and Red herself.. There was also a squirrel who reminded me a lot of Ice Age and Over The Hedge, he was really energetic.
