Have you seen "The O.C." episode on Thursday? I couldn't believe it. The writers definitely copied some elements of it from Moonlighting#'s "I am curious Maddie" and "To Heiress Human"! Two of the characters were having a fight over their relationship and she tries to slap him, then he grabs her hand just like in Moonlighting, sparks fly and the love scene starts. The next scene you see is how the two are in the bed and she says "We have to make a pact". The pact is about another issue (fighting more often b/c this will lead in the opposite direction at the end) but in my opinion the writers know "Moonlighting". Isn't that weird?

I don´t watch the O.C. but I can agree with you that I once in a while see Moonlighting in other tv shows.. Like the character in "Grey´s Anatomy" Addison Shepherd. Whenever I think about it I can´t help but smile.

Yeah it's like in Medium there's a very definite ML influence coming through there (obviously, with Glenn and Neil Mandelberg being involved). The daughter is called Ariel, every now and again Alison and Joe do the overlapping dialogue thing and then last week Joe said ......."mediocre minds think alike" at which point I positively flew out of my chair with the excitement!!! In fact, pretty much every week there's a "ML moment", it's pretty cool!

Babyhayes, where have you been?!! Anyway, I know exactly what you mean about Medium. When Joe said that last week, I just about screamed and my daughter thought I was being murdered! Don't you love their relationship?

I'm so glad you reacted like that too bluevelvet - my mum thought I was having some sort of choking fit, it was hilarious!!! I do love their relationship, I think they have been cast really well. Sorry have not been around, have been ill for a few weeks which has meant lots of time off work but, get this....I have not had the energy to go over to the DVD player and put a ML DVD in - now that IS frustration!!!!!

Not only does Grey's Anatomy have an Addison Shepherd in it, the episode that I caught last night had Curtis Armstrong as well. How weird is that. Do you think he was aware that there was a character called Addison Shepherd and if he was, how did he react?

Didn´t know where to post this, but I thought it was important. There´s a swedish song playing on the radio all the time that has the words "knock-down drag-out" in it. You can only guess what I´m thinking about every time I hear it.. "Blonde on Blonde".. aah.

OK, so another reference to ML (or is it just a coincidence?!) last week - Allison called her kids "kittens"! I think the exact thing was "Bye Kittens!" Don't that just make yawl think of David? ;D

Watched Nip/Tuck yesterday. Don´t know if you´re into it, but it´s about plastic surgeons and their screwed-up relationsships. I´m in the 3rd season (ep2). Anyway, to begin with they had "Tracks of my tears" playing (when they removed tatoos shaped like tears on a former gang-member), and later in the show the background music was "Since I fell for you". It´s not possible to lead a normal life when there´s Moonlighting everywhere!

Ok, Medium again. Last night's episode had overlapping dialogue between Allison and Joe - so David and Maddie!! And one of the episodes still to come, but that has screened in the US already, is called Knowing Her. Can't he come up with original titles?!!! Funny!
