I am SO sorry for the whole of Australia, they didn't deserve that. Not happy. I'm sulking. Ukraine v Switzerland was dull, and if you can't score a single penalty then you don't deserve to go through. So, my teams now are England, Spain Portugal, Brazil, Italy....pretty much anyone except Germany and Argentina!! Ha Ha it's so obvious I'm English...... ;D

Have to agree about Ukraine versus Switzerland - very dull game. I'm glad that Ukraine got through - they are pretty much the underdogs too.

I would have to go with burning candle and hoping that France will continue even if the match tomorrow is again Spain.
I'm routing with them until the end.
But there also some great matches to see so i'm really in a world cup fever!!!!!!

Sorry guys I am supporting Germany now - although I sense some hostility to the hosts. I'm sorry, I can be very hostile when I haven't had my nap. ;D I'm primarily supporting England, but after the development the last days (my other fav's eliminated) I'm soon gonna have to get geographical. Germany is close to home. I'm getting very ambivalent, really.

Well a very strange thing happened to me whilst watching Germany v Argentina. I started supporting Germany (but SHHH! don't tell anyone) and I am quite worried by this turn of events. Maybe I need to lie down.
I'm a bit nervous over England's match, especially as Eriksson doesn't really seem to know what formation to play and who his best players really are. Prove me wrong Sven, please! Looking forward to Brazil v France too, think I am supporting Brazil but I'm not sure why because I love Zinedine Zidane, what a legend! Oh I am so strange.....

England will have to bring their best game tonight if they wanna win. I know all about what the English papers say about Sven-Göran Eriksson, Swedish media are totally defending him like crazy. (so am I, but I'm not starting a debate here) They don't have to let Beckham play just because he's usually good.. if he has a bad day, let him rest. There must be someone else not injured yet. My point with all this is: I am nervous too! And may the best team win.

Great birthday present, Sakura! Well done Portugal! I knew it Portugal win it.
The english ones are the hardest team for the Portuguese ones. I remember back in the European 2004 that it was like on this game. 1s,the whole game, then extended time, and then the penalities. Phew. Really hard. I went to my street with my horn...it was F-U-N!

Congrats Portugal! ;D I'm sorry for England, having to loose that way... again. But that's the game, and the game goes on. I'm gonna start to support Europe now, any team will do. So great about France beating Brazil!
