Way back in Season 2, David accuses Maddie of being jealous of Gillian and calls her a green eyed snake. I think on that occasion Maddie was a little jealous but that is nothing compared to how she reacts to Terri!
When Maddie walks down the aisle she notices that David has a companion. I think her curiosity is piqued but she assumes it's some trollop David picked up at the last minute. When she discovers David has brought a decent looking, respectable and pregnant woman to the wedding she is unable to concentrate for a single second on her vows. That aforementioned green eyed snake is well and truly present!!! So much so that all reason deserts Maddie and she follows them to the hospital. The hilarious and touching scene which follows is one I always enjoy. . I suppose what I'm wondering are there other instances of the G-E S evident? David wears his heart on his sleeve but Maddie is usually so composed. When does she let down her guard?

I think I can see Maddie a tad green-eyed in Big Man on Mulberry Street, after she found out he'd been married. She follows David in that episode too, just a bit longer than to the hospital. Seemed like Maddie felt a lot of different emotions in Big Man, one of them because he'd been really serious with another woman (my interpretation) and isn't that what jelousy is all about? The G-E-S-syndrome does not get better when he wants to go to the funeral alone, and then she finally unleashes her anger. She's a bit sneaky though (or is that snake-y), keep a lot of feelings to herself compared to the examples funky discussed above.
