After commenting on some episodes of ML, by watching my old video tapes, I am now ready to watch the whole series again from my brand-new DVD sets. They arrived today - all 5 season DVDs - from Amazon and they were worth the wait; the packaging itself it's magnificent (except from Season 5 which was a let down) and the cover art is terrific. There is only one problem: the episode booklet from Season 4 is missing. It's kinda odd because all packages were brand-new and sealed and frankly I can't understand why this happened. Does anyone else experienced this? Is it possible to contact LionsGate (how?) and request a replacement? Apart from that issue, everything else is fine. I'm creating copies of the DVD's now and gonna watch them instead - I do not want to tear and wear my favourite show DVD's from watching them over and over again ;D Again, THANK you all people who made this happen!

It seems that lots of people were missing their booklet from season 4..... no rhyme or reason to why, but I have heard the complaint many times.
Here is Lion's Gate's address:
Lions Gate Entertainment 2700 Colorado Ave., Suite 200 Santa Monica, CA 90404
Maybe you can give them a try.

Thanks for the advice Diane.
I've contacted the reseller instead (Amazon) and they happily provided me with a replacement copy (the 3rd Season 5 DVD was defective as well).

For a birthday present I treated myself to Seasons 1, 2 and 3! Yay! So far I have one question -
I could have sworn 20 years ago that when David was crying in the rain in Blonde On Blonde that it was the popular Lenny Welch version of "Since I Fell For You" playing but on the DVD it sounds like Al Jarreau. Am I right or wrong?

no-no-no Lenny Welch version was in "Pilot", and Al Jarreau version was in "Blonde On Blonde".

Thanks, nurok! Memories can get fuzzy. I really like the instrumental intro right before David knocks on Maddie's door and Lenny's version doesn't have that.
I am enjoying skipping around and playing different episodes. This show still entertains and makes me laugh all these years later! ;D I'm on fire now to get seasons 4 and 5. What in the world am I waiting for???

maddieaddisonjr, your comment about the instrumental intro - I still clutch whenever I hear it even after all these years and watching this epi a million times. It really gets to me.

Hi, lin! Yes, there's just something about that intro playing for David. It's sad already as if we were being warned or it sounds like David's heart hanging on his sleeve. It gets to me too.

YAY!!!!!
I proudly announce that this evening my season 3 DVDs have finally arrived!!!!!!!
But as I'm in the middle of the season 2 rewatch, I'll stick to that, and season 3 will have to wait. Oh, sweet anticipation... ;D
I'm a happy girl tonight!

My DH bought me the first three seasons last year for Christmas. I literally had to stop watching, as I was 5 mos. pregnant and sobbing with every episode...it brought back such memories. Looking forward to watching again (now that I'm a little more normal emotionally). Brand new here...had to find you guys!
