Well, I've FINALLY finished season 4. Let me tell you (I'm sure I don't need to) at times it was a trial. But this last episode offered a lot.
One thing I noticed was how much I enjoyed ML's cold openings and really appreciated them. I always love the moodiness and atmospheric nature, and this opening was great.
The angry, aggressive and moody side of David was understandable, even if it's not my favorite facet of the character...I like the lighter and more carefree David, which luckily came through near the end there. It will be interesting to see how things finish up in this final season, hm.

Ok I have finished a rewatch of season 4. Leaning toward 8 on this one. I like that we finally see the soft side of Maddie again. The real Maddie has finally returned at least for this episode. Not gonna think about the next season yet the beginning is great with the staff jumping and cheering the exit of Walter. I like the 4th wall break when he leaves. Yes happy now. David's speech to Maddie is great and I definitely think she needed to hear it. Love that they kiss and the ending scene was so great with so much hope of good things to come. Setting the Lamaze time to the show time Tues 9 , 8 central was classic ML. Loved that part Ok I like that there was a case but the chase scene was rediculous. Yes the chase scenes always were but earlier seasons they were actually funny. I didn't think any of them this season were. Almost like they forgot how to be funny. That aside I really liked this one. Will I get up the nerve to continue to season 5? Ugh I don't know. Just want to add I always throught that this is where Maddie should really have started pursuing David. She knows he's scared of getting hurt esp after that speech. She grabbed him and kissed him here. She should have continued going after him. She knows she wants him. Just go for it already! Ok I'm done now
