Over on the Sitcoms Online board someone mentioned they thought one of Paul McCain's callers is Bruce in disguise, I don't think it actually is, but how cool would it have been if it was? The caller I'm referring to is the one where he wants to ask the lady out who he works with. Would have been a really cool "Easter Egg" type thing, especially as this is the episode where we first see David has feelings for Maddie. Ah well, just a thought......

Now that you mention it, that is a puzzler. It doesn't sound like him, unless he was distorting his voice. Which he could have been, if he didn't want anyone to figure out who he was. The radio show was reflected as a pretty popular one and anyone might have been listening... Still, I think we can tell he was crazy about her from the time they danced together in the pilot. ;D Had it really been him on the air, that would have been a very sweet moment. However, to do something as obvious as, say, showing David hanging up the phone after the radio call, might have been a little too overt and taken some of the energy away from the build-up. So if it was him, I'm glad they didn't let us know. A major part of the story was the way they both feared and resisted their feelings as well as being unable to deny them. Things almost had to develop the way they did.
