4. Do you think Maddie should have gotten mad at David for what transpired during their FINE date?Yes, although I think her anger was more just dissappointment in David. I do think though that once she realized David really did try to make it a "fine" evening she was not as mad. You could see David's effort from jump street (maybe I'm biased)...it wasn't hidden to Maddie at all once he came to the door. I too though believe it was more disappointment than anger.

7. So, what is the verdict? Who is more comfortable in whose back yard?I don't think it is a matter of seeing who is most comfortable in the others backyard, but more of how Maddie could use a little more "fun" and David could use a little more "fine" in their lives. And who better to enrich their lives than each other!! They are made for each other and destined to be together!....then and now!!

5. This is one of the more comedic episodes of the series. Cybill mentions that it is one of her personal favorites. Do you think they pull it off? Oh yes, in a very big way...there are some fabulously funny stuff in here...for instance... ~At the theater when David throws the paper at Maddie to get her attention and she gives a look that makes me chuckle just thinking about it. Also, the way the audience head moves to the beat between David and Maddie...good stuff. ~The dialogue about the G-Man and G-Woman, lol Too many to name. These episodes showed C/B can do both drama/comedy so well. You got both with this show so the actors really were able to show off all their talents i think. ANd yes Cybill's faces were the best in this episode! Too funny! I do love the line about David not being able to cop a feel at the door ROFL He sure was hoping the night would end differently huh? Hmm wonder if he was LOL

I do think though that once she realized David really did try to make it a "fine" evening she was not as mad. Yeah i think she was more disapointed then mad also, she wants David to think shes mad but we saw how she acted while getting dressed up for their FINE date, she was giddy and happy and wow she just glowed at the door didnt she? And the ROSE he gave her and then she liked drags it down her neck, very sexy for someone who is going out with someone they arent involved with like that yet dont ya think? HMMM Could they both have thought the night would end up with them together AHHH the things to think about LOL

b). Do you think Maddie thought of her FINE date as a real date? Why or why not? She sure did seem like she thought of it as a real date just by the way you see her getting ready like it was the most important date of her life and by her showing she was mad/disappointed it shows she wanted it to be perfect for them both.

Thanks Lin for the great-great Qfs, which Ifve never thought of before. I enjoyed reading and figuring them out, and Ifd like to post some of my humble opinions.
1. This episode immediately follows The Man Who Cried Wife. a). What, if any, is the significance of this episode following TMWCW?
I think in TMWCW, Maddie comes to know Davidfs spontaneity is one of his great things and starts to dream of the possibility between them. And David knows that. However they still continue those games: he plays the bet in the office using her as a tool and she has a date with an uninteresting man. I like to think when the time comes, both are seeking how to make it move ahead. And I always feel Season 3 gradually becoming a little bit painful (because their fight and anger look becoming more serious at times), I admit the intensity between those two is more required and also something different from Season2 though. So Ifm actually very glad to watch this funny episode and especially the fabulous scene at her door that David wearing a tux and Maddie wearing a gown excitedly going on a real date. Itfs awesome!

2. When Maddie is telling David about her disappointing dates, he is really listening to her. Notice his expression. a). Do you think that David's efforts to show Maddie a FINE evening are all about the dare, or is David trying to show Maddie that he can fit into her world? I feel he is sort of relieved to hear she isnft involved with any other men yet, and tries to know what she wants for a date. And when he gets to know he can do it for her, he is really clever to attract her attention into this as if itfs a game. So I think it is the latter. The rose, limo and champagne would all make her happy and he wants to prove it to her that he is the one who really knows Maddie, and is able to make her happy.
b). Is this a case of ol' quick-thinking Addison using this situation as an opportunity to ask Maddie on a date without really asking?
I think yes. And I really wanted to see how another Davidfs fun evening with Maddie would go along! Not on the boxing rink!

3. As Maddie gets ready for her date with David, she is nervous, excited, almost giddy. As she answers the door, she gazes downward and then is pretty flirtatious with David. Her glances in the limo are very interesting. This may be the only time that we see her quite like this. a). What is happening here? What do you think the writers are trying to say about Maddie?
Yes, I agree she seems expecting something to happen, and think she can be a woman like this if she really wants to bec and too bad this is the first and last time with David?
b). Do you think Maddie thought of her FINE date as a real date? Why or why not?
I think yes, the evidences are her nervousness and excitement when shefs ready for it.
4. Do you think Maddie should have gotten mad at David for what transpired during their FINE date?
I think no. She should have considered that he tried to do his best in his unfamiliar territory. And her familiar line like this: gDavid humiliates me!h occurs here. However she did some embarrassing things with David before, and she didnft seem so got hurt at those moments. Even in TSAR, I think she is generous to David. So I guess she is being a lot serious on this date. Unfortunately, her desire to have kind of civilized relationship with him totally turns out all wrong. I think she is furious at him and herself for expecting it!
5. This is one of the more comedic episodes of the series. Cybill mentions that it is one of her personal favorites. Do you think they pull it off?
I really love the first half of this episode. I think their conversation in the beginning and the whole scene from her door to the symphony are some highlights. I can watch the symphony scene again and again, laughing that both David and Maddie are so funny. But I felt a little disappointed at the ending, Davidfs boxing performance was great though. Poor David...he looks awfully hurt!
