Great pictures Sakura!! I really really love the last picture, I love his hair all spikey and slightly messy... Far better than the longer smoother haircut he had early on...
Anyone notice just how pale Bruce is in these early episodes compared to later ones? He actually changes considerably between the pilot and the end of season 3. Not only the tan, but the hair, and he's more muscular too... And David Addison starts to dress better - the suits in the early episodes are really cheap looking!
sigh!

That last one is my favourite too Mul. You're right, he is much smarter in season 3. He's really nice in The Straight Poop. Here's a couple: Love Gem

I was checking in an old portuguese book that I have on my attic. It's about the meaning of the names, and I found David. Here's what it says:
"Very calm and romantic,David is a person, who loves the life. It's also a person with a great sence of humor, and a person who likes the sucess of the life. David is a calm person, very romantic and loves his life"

It was interesting to me seeing how his look changed over the span of the series. In the promo photos and parts of the Pilot episode, David had longer hair with the receding temples and looked more, I dunno...average. He looked a little like the dad in "Better Off Dead." That style was my least favorite for him. Honestly, I can kind of see why the studio execs were saying it was like "beauty and the beast." He wasn't bad looking at all, but that hair cut made him look older than he was, thin up top, but long in the back. The cheaper suits also weren't helping. Definitely average joe, stress on "average." Once Season 1 starts though, it's not long in the back, the top is trimmed a bit, looking closer to the David we normally think of.
Season 3 he got his hair on top cut really short, spiky, and the sides combed really tight to the side. His hair loss was more noticeable, especially in that episode where him and Maddie walk in on Miss Dipesto having her way with Herbert on a desk. I think you could argue that it was the worst it looked in the whole season, and yet he still looked good, and still looked better than he did in the first two seasons, and somehow younger looking. He had his best look in season 3, in my opinion. The spiky hair look was his best.
I was watching some episodes of season 4 and 5, and somehow his hair looked thicker and his receding temples looked less recessed. I'm assuming the make-up department was doing something? His hair looked healthier, and was poofier on top, I guess to give it volume and the appearance of thickness, but the sides still slicked back. It was especially weird to see him wearing Miami Vice styled jacket with the pastel under shirt. That episode was the one animated episode I think, and him and Herbert are walking on a pier. He looked a little too fashion conscious, surprising for someone who doesn't even have furniture in their living room.
