Also realised that I failed to comment on Dark Beer's post - sorry DB! Just read your top scenes and loved every word. Such vivid description and so beautifully understood from many different angles. Brilliant- you should post more often! :-) x

Hello all,
I'm new here (just found this site) and I have loved reading everyone's favorite scenes. Just wanted to put one in of my own.
One scene that stuck with me throughout the years was from "Womb with a View". I know, I know - not a favorite episode with the fans in general, it shows the tragedy of losing a child.
But remember during the baby shower, Maddie and David are dancing. You see them laughing, smiling, touching each other, hugging and gazing at each other with no inhibitions. They both look HAPPY. Maddie isn't self-conscious or overthinking things, she is relaxed in a way you rarely see her. David is just entertaining her and taking care of her. When I first saw this so many years ago, I thought "Great! They are finally going to be together, and when they find out the baby is David's it will all be ok and we will see the happy ending!" What a let down when that didn't happen :-(
I recall replaying the dancing on my VCR many times, sad that this moment wasn't duplicated again as the show went on.
Anyway, thanks all, for the wonderful analysis and insights into my favorite TV show of all time. I look forward to rewatching all the episodes on DVD now, moreso because of this site.
Glad to find out I'm not the only one who has obsessed over this show!

Hi skywithdiamonds and welcome! Enjoyed reading about your fave scene, it is indeed a very lovely moment between them! They never looked more happy.... what makes the scene after it so bitter.

Hello everyone, I am not sure whether some of you still go to this website, but I wanted to tell you how great that was to read all of your favorite scenes! Frst of all, please forget my English as I am French. I hope I'll express myself clearly enough I wanted to add one scene that I particularly love and that has not been mentioned, I think : it's in "Money walks, Maddie talks", when they won all that money ("Sawyer's money, my money!") and sit on the floor. David suddenly suggests that they could stay here for a couple of more days, just to enjoy themselves. Then he leans to Maddie like if he wants to kiss her, but she stops him very sweetly with her hand and he takes her hand and kisses it and ohohohohoh I really find it a true loving moment between the two of them. Actually it seems so natural that I often wondered if it was not a moment between Cybill and Bruce instead of David and Maddie! Thanks again for the great moments I had reading your posts!

Hi noflies and welcome! I like your username. It's from Maddie's line to David ~"No flies on you"~, right? Yes, it's quiet around here, but at least there's an awesome place for ML fans to come and reminisce. And your English is great, btw. Among my favorite scenes are: ~The final scene of "I Am Curious...Maddie," from Maddie finding David camped out in her bed to the yummy end! This scene is my number one favorite of the entire series. ~In the "The Dream Sequence Always Rings Twice" : Cybill as Rita in the black dress singing "I told you I love you / Now get out!" ~The Addison brothers hanging out on the town at the end of "Those Lips, Those Lies" (Season 5) ~David clowning behind Maddie's back in "My Fair David" ~The hilarious wedding/hospital scene at the end of "Maddie Hayes Got Married" I have many more but these are the ones that came to mind first.

Hi maddieaddisonfr! So happy you replied to my post! Yes, this place is really awesome for Moonlighting fans to find information about that show. I wish I had found it earlier when there were a lot of users posting comments! Yes my username comes from that Maddie's line to David About your second favorite pick, I read an interview of Bruce Willis where he said that he particularly loved one scene of that Black and White episode, when Maddie sings and puts her head and hair back (do you see what I mean?). He said he found that move "incredibly sexy" I think I am going to watch that episode again tonight!

I loved how glamorous Cybill looked in the scene. I like women's style of dress in the '40s and '50s and that's part of the reason I enjoy movies from that era.

Hello all and 'bienvenue' to Noflies! Your English is great! This is the first time I've been on here this year and it's really good to see things are still alive with folk still dipping in. I don't think any of us will ever desert our favourite site or our favourite show and it's brilliant that new Moonlighting fans are still finding us! I'll throw a few of my picks for 'favourite scene' in to the mix: I also love that scene in Money talks, Maddie walks and just like Noflies, I've always thought that Bruce and Cybill seem to come through in that moment! I love the sillouetted office doorway scene between them in Every Daughter's Father is a Virgin. Their chemistry sizzles.

Pressed the wrong key on the keyboard and my post flew off by itself before I'd finished! Anyway, back to favourite scenes!....... The beginning of The Son Also Rises is a classic David Addison entry in his mexican hat! Also love the scene after that when they admit that they've missed each other over the holidays. Even though it's a really sad episode, I do like the scene in the lift in Between a Yuk and a Hard Place when Maddie finally breaks down and David comforts her. Of course the garage scene and subsequent kiss in 'Witness' is always worth a viewing! Two scenes in Big Man on Mulberry Street stand out - David returning to the hotel to find Maddie in his room. Cybill is beautiful in this scene. Also love the way Bruce beautifully underplays the later scene in the bedroom where David tells Maddie about his past. Ah! I could go on and on!... There are so many great scenes. As I'm sure I've said before, it just shows how great they really were as we're still enjoying them after all these years! Hope newbies keep on finding this site and old faithfuls keep paying a visit too!

Hello sarahfromsussex (from England I guess )? I was feeling a bit down yesterday and guess what I watched.....the doorway scene you mentioned! David seems so protective and so sad for Maddie. It's definitely a very touching scene. Everytime I visit this website to check if someone posted something, I end up watching scenes over and over again, this show is so brilliant. I was watching another show from the same period of time a while ago and couldn't help thinking how modern Moonlighting was and still is. Except for some outdated car models maybe... I tried someting the other day : in some episodes, you can clearly see some street names (car chases help with that!). So I entered some addresses in Google Earth and found the exact place where they shot that scene. Some locations may have been completely rebuild, but some others are still pretty much the same, it's funny to see, especially for someone who has never been in LA

The scene I really love is from the first Christmas episode, where Maddie and David are in the office and he's copying everything she says and does. "I'm calling the police" "Stop that David" "I hate YOU!". I just love the way she screams "YOU". Brilliant scene. When I watched the DVD again last year, I filmed that scene on my TV with my phone so I could watch it again and again!
