I really enjoyed that promo - could just imagine them sitting on a desk and delivering those lines! Sweet! Can't wait for Sunday's bedtime reading - it's always a joy to have all of those characters together in one room. Oh and tell Maddie and David - Sandra and I might try to pick them up in their 60's for a one off reunion ep. It'll scare the hell out of them! ;-) xxx

Just read it - and came to the conclusion that I loved David's episode! Found myself chuckling out loud on several occasions due to David being so David! God love him. Ooh and I Loved the lunch scene - could imagine you planning every possible faux pas that could arise and adding it to the mix: great material. A great mix of laughs and sweet moments :-) xx

Ok...I cant go to work without at least a small comment. I just finished reading episode 4 and I just LOVED it! Don't have time to go into details, but it was just wonderful! I just loved the luncheon and the speach. I will post a nice lengthy comment over on the VM boards tonight after I get home form work. I just didnt want to leave you hanging Diane! Great job ladies...as always. Cant wait for the next one.

DIane what a special treat this episode was! It was so moving & fun & sweet & funny & very heartwarming! I always enjoyed the family episodes alot & this was the best one by far! No real craziness for our couple for this episode was really nice. Sure the craziness will come back agan though LOL Everyone is really so differant but gets along great! Many funny LOL moments too! but David speech was just so tear worthy & yeah what can i say i'm a Davidsgirl all the way & i know there are other out there who are too & will agree this is a tribute to David! Thanks again for continuing with this story!

diane, Super job, my friend! I loved the little touches in this one...like the discussion of where to put the picture...as well as the more "obvious" comedy (I'm still laughing picturing Paul Sorvino decked out in three plaids).
You have such a deft touch with all these characters..hope I can do half as well when it's my turn! ;D

Diane - just a great job. Your writing is so true to the characters. I could easily see in my mind Maddie & David in 1993 saying these lines. Very enjoyable read and great musical touches.
Like Rose, I love the family episodes as well and this one was my favorite.
Thank you for the hard work! 1987

Dear people, I have been out most of the day, and got to watch my beloved Phillies in person today, as they beat the Chicago Cubs....(poor Chicago ) Then I came home to all of your lovely comments. Please know that I am so grateful for them. This episode was very dear to my heart, and was probably the most complicated piece that I have written in a long long time. I like to think that after 9 years, D&M are actually getting to experience some of the everyday joys, while still keeping their passion and edginess. And I am so appreciative that so many of you seem like you are with me, in the way they embark on this journey. Your kindness has made me very happy today. Thanks. Diane
