Oh, moonchild...your username suggests you were born in 1969 (hippie vibe) rather than 1984 (?) . That is SOME list! How did you come across our beloved show? And the bf is as big a fan?

Aww...thank you for the warm welcome, guys! I'm already feeling very much at home here. To answer your questions, witness: The name is actually a Neverending Story thing (I'm really into the book, not as much into the movie). Plus, it's already got the word 'moon' in it, so I figured: why not? I think I got into Moonlighting a few years ago when I was visiting my parents in Germany. There is this one channel, called Kabel 1, which, at the time, was showing re-runs of Moonlighting every day - right after re-runs of Remington Steele. My sister really liked Remington Steele when she was younger, so I wanted to find out what was so special about this show. I found it was fun to watch on a lazy Sunday afternoon, but something was missing. Then I watched Moonlighting and all I can remember is that I felt thoroughly entertained. The excitement, humor, and sexual tension were all there and they were perfect. Then they broke the fourth wall and had dream sequences with lots of dancing and singing, and basically did everything other shows don't do. And it worked, even though it was all dubbed over in German. Luckily, I soon bought the DVD sets and got to watch everything properly, in English, and without commercial breaks. Unfortunately, the bf still has to warm up to Moonlighting. He grew up watching 'Die Hard', so he only knows Bruce Willis as the tough-as-nails action hero and kind of has to get used to David Addison. But I think he's coming around. Anyways, sorry for the long post, but since you asked...
