Hello my name is Ashley! I've recently been rewatching my Moonlighting DVD's and I wondered if there was anywhere online to discuss the show and was pleasantly surprised to find that there were several. My journey with Moonlighting began in 1983,I received my TV Guide Fall Preview and while looking through it I became fascinated with the blonde in the photo for The Yellow Rose.I was a 9 year old girl and I thought that is my idea of a beautiful woman,so I became a Cybill Shepherd fan on the spot. When the show got canceled it wasn't long before the show I was meant to find came along. On March 3,1985,shortly after my 11th birthday I truly fell in love with a show.Moonlighting changed how I forever watched television and I became a fan of Cybill's for her talent. The show was magical,I sat in fascination every week, including reruns,I stuck with it till the end which was shortly after my 15th birthday. It was a while before I really got into another show because they all paled in comparison.I've followed Cybill's career every since and eventually discovered her earlier career.I have followed Bruce,Allyce and Curtis's somewhat,I plan on doing more of that in the future.Anyway, I am glad to have found this site,it is so cool.I love the photo gallery,I'm surprised by how many of those I have and how many I don't have,it was such a great time.I hope to have discussions with all of you about the show and actors in the future.

Hello everybody! So glad to have found this board. I am new here, but an old fan of Moonlighting. I NEVER missed it back in the 80's & even got into a fight with a good friend of mine because she got me home 5 mins late one Tuesday night. We are still friends though & laugh about that night. I used to have all the seasons on VHS, but once I got rid of my VCR I got rid of the tapes. I borrowed all the DVD's from the library & have fallen in love with Moonlighting all over again. In fact, I'm enjoying it even more this time around. My friends think I'm crazy about this obsession. Guess they've never been obsessed over anything. I love posting pics of David & Maddie & Bruce & Cybill on my Facebook page. I can't wait until I can own all the seasons.

Hi Vickie! So glad you found this! There are many, many, MANY, folks here that share your obsession, trust me. It's been pretty quiet, though. There has been a little discussion about firing the threads up again, so spread the word and light the matches!

Hi, Vickie, and welcome! I've been gone a long time myself and just started visiting this site again when I started another ML marathon rewatch. Don't know if I can bring myself to watch season 5 again though. Ugh! Anyway, the show feels as fresh as it did in the 80's when I first loved it. It stands the test of time imo.

Hi Everyone! I'm Marcy and I'm new to this forum. I hope there are still members participating bc I see the dates go back quite a ways. Anyhow, I originally watched ML when I was about 10 years old and loved it but just finished watching a marathon run and I'm reeling. I feel so heartbroken about Season 5 - I'm sure it sounds silly - but it really made me so sad to see Maddie and David end that way. I appreciate being able to chat with others who've enjoyed the show as well. Hope to hear from you

Hi Marcy! Believe me everyone knows exactly how you feel! It's been pretty quiet around here. Maybe after the new year things will pick up, but in the meantime have fun checking out all the terrific things on the site. And if you really get all crazy check out all of the fanfic out there at virtualmoonlighting.com and fanfiction.net
Merry Christmas!

Hi Marcy yes, we certainly all know how you feel! As I've said before, the pain of watching season 5 never gets any less! However the pleasure of watching seasons 1,2,3 and some of 4 makes it bearable! Enjoy this great site and happy Christmas from me too to you and to all our lovely people who dip in and out of here!

It's kinda quiet around here now but this is such a wonderfully constructed site that I'm glad it still exists and I visit every now and then. Moonlighting deserves to have this monument in cyberspace! I was in high school when this show was prime time news and I loved it. It's still one of my all-time favorites and I own all 5 seasons. That said, ah... Don't feel silly about being heartbroken about what happened to the show in season 5. Moonlighting is true blue, Hall-of-Fame historic platinum television programming and I even bet there are Millenials out there who would enjoy - or already have enjoyed - the early seasons of it -- even though it might look weird to them that no one has their cell phone out and earplugs in while walking down the street. :-) But season 5 is a trainwreck which is a shame because I think the ending of season 4 was getting the show back on track. Alas, the opportunity was utterly wasted. I'll gladly chat with you about ML, the good and the bad, whenever I'm around! Welcome!

Hi everyone! I'm Sandra and very new here. I was aware of this site, but somehow, I never opened my eyes wide enough to notice this forum while visiting. Maybe I just couldn't see beyond David Addison and his charming smile ;-)
I first learned of the existence of Moonlighting back in 1995, when some network decided to do re-runs. I was 12 years old at the time, and when David Addison walked onto my screen, I came face to face with my very first crush ever. Hahaha! I guess somehow, that crush transformed into some sort of fascination that is still with me to this day. No worries, my husband is well aware ;-)
I'm married and I have a 3 year old daughter.
I hope some members are still active, because this forum looks like a lot of fun!

I hope some members are still active, because this forum looks like a lot of fun! So, Sandra: I feel like Dreyfus in Close Encounters. Something just...called me to this site. I'm a little older than you: I was in college when ML was on, and I watched it religiously...through Season 4. (I understand that's a bit of a theme among some around here. ;-) ) I've wandered onto the site because, frankly, the world seems so awful these days, and it feels like darkness and hate is winning-and that was before the pandemic, and George Floyd. And as a coping mechanism, mainly to help me get to sleep at night, I've been watching ML on YouTube. (God Bless whoever put all of them in a queue, and I've gotten used to not seeing the bottom third of the screen in order to see the versions that play back at the right speed.) I need to remember when I was young and relatively happy, and to continue my decades-long crush on Maddie Hayes. Not Cybill Shepherd; Maddie Hayes. I don't KNOW Cybill Shepherd. I feel like I know Maddie Hayes. That's insane, of course, but that's what fan pages are for, right? Seems clear it's been a while since most posted regularly, but if there are people who still watch and want to chat from time to time, I'm game. I love the show and how it makes me feel-young again, smart again, my life in front of me.
