Hey Judy, didn't you just love Charles Rocket? I looked on imdb.com and it said the Cybill episodes he was on were called Ka-Boom! and Cybill in the Morning, and you are right, his character was called Charlie Addison. I know his character on Moonlighting was supposed to be a bit of a goofball, but I always really liked Richard Addison. He was tall, and kinda cute. I can see why Maddie had fun with him and enjoyed dancing with him. But of course, if I had to choose one of the Addison brothers, there's no question who that would be. THIS GUY RIGHT HERE View AttachmentI really liked his character in Moonlighting. The episode where he is first introduced is my daughter's favorite so far, so we've watched it a few times recently. He was goofy but also kind of cute and sweet. I still would have picked David too! I haven't seen anything else Charles has done yet. I am looking forward to the Cybill episodes with him.

Quest, the Cybill show is on Tubi and maybe a few other places like that. It was so sad to hear about Charlie Rocket.
Where did you watch the roast? I saw a clip of Cybill's part but I can't seem to find the whole thing. I did like seeing pictures of them hugging at the end. I really wish they would just do something together again one day before it's too late.

The roast is definitely on Youtube. You just have to Google it.
I, too, would love for them to do something together.

I just googled Blue Moon Investigations and there are a few detective agencies out there with that name! I thought that was pretty funny.

I'm looking for suggestions for a good Bruce Willis movie to watch this weekend. I've already seen Die Hard and The Sixth Sense, which obviously are both excellent films. I recently watched him in The Last Boy Scout. I can't say I loved the movie, but I thought he was great in it. I just found his character to be very attractive in that tough, but good guy kind of way. I was thinking of maybe watching Striking Distance. Any of you seen that one? Any good?

Marlena, I would leave Striking Distance alone Not his best. Personally, I liked Mercury Rising and The Fifth Element.

He's stars in that with Sarah Jessica Parker...I'm curious if he has chemistry with her.

I've never seen Striking Distance, so I'll leave a review to others. I thought he was very good in "Nobody's Fool," the Paul Newman/Melanie Griffith film, in a supporting role. I liked "The Siege" as well, where he plays a general who winds up in conflict with Denzel Washington's FBI agent. But I know that its depiction of Muslim-Americans was decried in many circles even as it tried to address xenophobia against Muslims as a major part of the plot. And, depending on your tastes-it certainly is not for everyone- Pulp Fiction.

Hi Judy,
I remember seeing Blind Date when it first came out. I kind of remember not liking it as a kid, probably because BW was with Kim Basinger in it and not with CS. I definitely plan to watch it again soon, it's on my list. It's fun watching things now that I originally saw as a kid or young teen. It's like watching it brand new because you have a whole different perspective.
Besides Moonlighting, some of the 80's TV series that I've watched lately are Growing Pains, Who's the Boss, and Silver Spoons. I loved them back then, and I still love them today. But now I relate more to the shows as a parent. As for movies, when I was little I loved Olivia Newton-John, so I recently watched Grease, Xanadu, and Two of a Kind. Grease is a classic, as most would agree. I really enjoyed watching Xanadu again, and the music is great. It was funny because I loved Two of a Kind as a kid, but now I think it's a stinker - two thumbs down!
I will say though, that one of my greatest childhood memories is being at the roller rink and having Olivia's "Twist of Fate" come on, and boy, I couldn't skate fast enough around that rink. I must've thought I was some kind of roller skating diva! What a dork! Makes me laugh when I think about it! Anybody else got a funny story to tell about being a kid in the 80's? or 90's....or 70's....whenever you were a kid....

Hi Marlena, I saw Blind Date when it came out too! I was so excited to see Bruce on the big screen. I liked it just because he was in it, but yes I would have liked it better with CS. For some reason it didn't bother me as much as a kid to see him having love scenes with someone else.
I used to watch all of those same shows as a kid. I haven't really seen them as an adult. Another show I loved and still watch is Three's Company. I had a crush on John Ritter and just recently found out Cybill was on his last show in 2 episodes. I loved seeing them together!
I only knew one song by Olivia Newton-John, but I do remember for a long time thinking her name was the name of a trio, Olivia, Newt and John! LOL! I also remember roller skating a lot as a kid, even had a party at the rink, but don't really remember any of the songs that played.
Also, another good movie with Bruce is Sin City, but it is pretty violent.
