nodie The upcoming Lion's Gate DVD release is for domestic (US & Canada--region 1) only. They did not have any information on who might have the rights for the international release. Perhaps Disney/Buena Vista International might be able to answer this since Lions Gate got their rights from ABC/Disney/Buena Vista. Why don't you contact Buena Vista Home Entertainment UK www.bvimovies.co.uk/ and send an email via that Contact button at the bottom on their site. Ask them if they have or know who has the rights for Moonlighting TV series DVDS' Internationally/Region II since you know Lion's Gate is releasing them in US & Canada only. It can't hurt and the worst is they just don't answer you back.

I got my dad to swap me his multi-region dvd player for my region 2 one! I decided I couldn't wait for them to maybe bring it out in region 2. It was bad enough having to wait for it to arrive from America for days after other people had theirs!!

Hi, I'm looking for region 4. Am not sure if this means I need a NTSC TV? I'm in New Zealand and we only just had the series repeat for the FIRST time. Does anybody know about this because I'm happy to buy region 1 if it will work. Thanks

Hi Kjay I am also from New Zealand and I was told that region 1 DVDs play here on region free players. I don't know if you tv makes a difference. I went ahead and ordered them off Amazon anyway as the folks at Sounds hadn't heard anything about a release here. They haven't even heard of Lion's Gate. I am still waiting impatiently for the DVDs. Were you clever enough to tape them when they played on TV1? I didn't and I really regret it.

Hi people, thought it was about time I joined in with you guys rather than just reading and wanting to be involved in these posts! Kjay and bluevelvet I am in NZ too and also told that Region 1 DVDs are ok on multi-region players. Not sure about the NTSC TV thing - my DVD player is compatible with both PAL and NTSC so maybe yours is too kjay?? Have ordered DVDs from Amazon anyway, hate the thought that US and Canada will have them before us!!

I have a big problem. My dvd player is only code 2 and so I played the moonlighting episodes on my hostmums lap top. Suddenly there came a note, that this was my last chance to change the regionscode. Now it is permanent sone1 and can`t be changed under any circumstances. I don`t know what to do!!!!!!!!!!!! Any ideas? ?
