Let me pile on here, somewhat late, naturally.
Add me to the list who place this episode at the very top of the heap. It just has everything that made Moonlighting my favorite show of all time. An unexpected top notch guest star (Orson Welles), spectacular photography in color and two forms of B&W, a very innovative story line and, of course, Cybill in a slip.
I equate this episode with my favorite MOVIE of all time, Raiders of the Lost Ark. I don't think there is a single clunker in either production. IMHO they are perfect examples of the craft with superb storytelling, great music, wonderful cinematography and terrific acting.
I can't say enough about this episode. I think it belongs in the Smithsonian as the pinnacle of the genre.

It is my favorite of all, top of the list. It's sexy, clever, well acted, written, and directed, it has Orson Wells, and it's black and white. I enjoy the two sides of the story, though my favorite moment is Cybill in sexy black singing with that piano. And there are kisses, very hot kisses. I never get tired to see this episode.
