What's happening?!? I wanted to vote, but it wouldn't work! Anyway, I give it a crystal clear 10! This is such a great-great and brilliant episode, to say it's a milestone in TV history wouldn't be exaggerated. And, apart from the sheer technical and innovative brilliance, it has great and sparkling classic ML moments - the sexiest sexist banter is one of the best ever, PLUS it has the first kiss(es) of course (although they're fantasy kisses). BTW, funny how mostly everybody's favorite kiss is the "window kiss". I personally go completely freaky with the other one from Maddie's dream. Mostly, because I love, love, love Zack's half menacing, half seducing approach - "why don't you tell me to go away? I can't hear anything. Confused, huh? I still don't hear anything..." - the way he grabs her neck and pulls her close, and the way she literally falls... I bet her knees are shaking. I know mine would have been... Whoops, got carried away again...

One of the single best episodes of television ever produced. The simply remarkable thing about Dream Sequence is the fact that it LOOKS AND FEELS like a movie from the 40s. It is like watching D+M being whisked back in time to another film period. The authenticity of using black and white film stock combined with the Hollywood golden-age photography know how of Finnerman actually came together to create an episode of 80s television that you could prop up next to an actual film noir and not be able to tell the difference aesthetically. It blows my mind everytime I watch it. It captures the style and mood of both of those 40s styles immaculately. This is time-capsule television!
