Being of Irish ancestry, I really did like this episode. The man chasing the "leprechaun" was in the Warriors, one of my favorite movies. Good St. Patrick's Day episode

I had a good "craic"( it's Irish : meaning fun!) watching this episode too!! All the more so since I Love Ireland, I lived in Belfast for a year and I spend my summer holidays in Ireland every year. It's the gathering place for most of my friends and I; Ireland is a lovely country. The episode is great though the girl who plays the leprechaun doesn't have an Irish accent at all!!!

I watched this one the other night with my hubby. He said to me after we watched this episode: How was this show not cancelled after this episode LOL He said it was stupid . I will admit it is not one of the best ML episodes. It does have some good scenes between M/D and well that's really all i care about LOL I give it a 7.

Hi! Newbie here. Yes, this episode is silly, but endearing. You can see in some scenes the actors holding back a chuckle. When David sings that diddy w/ "move a little more to de right"...cracks me up every time. ;D

What a delightful episode! Is this really by the same people who brought us Season 4? *G* Several sexy hair scenes here: - Maddie's sleeker, looser hair, esp. during the Gauguin conversation.
- David's tousled hair, as he's leaving Maddie's house after a long evening of hole digging, looks especially sexy with its slightly fringy bangs look.
This really is a sweet, light-hearted story with great casting. I gave it a 9.

I am of Irish heritage, so this episode gets points from me just for that. It's a cute episode, silly, not like the most ground-breaking of the series or anything, but just good "Irish Spring" clean fun And I really liked Maddie's "Gauguin" hair too. I give this episode a 7.

wow that`s something else we have in common. My great-grandmother came from Cork in southern Ireland and moved to the UK just before the First World War. Small world huh!

I give this one a 9. It's not the best written or cleverest episode and its not really a Maddie/David zing episode either, but there is something so incredibly endearing about it that I love it. This may be the only time in the series where M&D develop a significant relationship/attachment to a client. And I adore the effect that the leprechaun has on Maddie. She brings out this incredible softness and sweetness in Maddie that we only see flashes of during the series with Maddie and Agnes, that I wish we could have seen more. Plus the episode has one of my favorite Agnes lines with the "that man belongs in a pound ... pound of what?" exchange. Oh and I concur on the great Maddie hair and the hilariousness of the "Gaugin" exchange.

I'd give it a 6. Although in this episode, the whole "case" is a metaphor relating to the lives of Maddie & David - in particular Maddie who is a logical thinker but not a believer - the story was a little "kiddish" to me. It did have some funny moments however and I do like Cybill in that silk neckligé she was in at her house

This one just didn't work for me at all.
*5* (Wish I clicked 4 but it's too late.)

This is a cute episode. Not my favorite but still good. And the karate/Diana Ross line cracks me up every time! ;D

I watched this one recently and there is some funny stuff here, you just have to really pay attention. The scene where David is talking 90mph about AMFL (another mother for lease) cracked me up. He says everything so fast that it is not easy to catch everything the first time.....like a lot of ML!
"Not a mutha, a mother!" ;D
Also, there is a very sweet scene at Maddie's house where they are talking about fairy tales and whether to believe in them. David makes a comment about "thinking too much and it all goes away". Hmmmm....he has Maddie pegged as a thinker already!!
Not the most memorable episode, but some good banter here and there.
