Did anyone else notice in this episode when Alan Tupperman comes to Blue Moon and he is asked why did he come to a Private Detective agency to find the "woman of his dreams" that he says he's tried everything from "want ads, personals, and COMPUTER DATING." Did computer dating even exist circa 1985/86? Just wondering because I just noticed that he said this when I watched the episode on Wednesday.

Computer dating certainly did exist in the mid-eighties....(or I guess Mr. Caron was a very clairvoyant gentleman!!). Actually, the wide usage of personal computers changed the concept of computer dating forever, but there was a definite computer dating market going back to the 60s, and some say, even earlier.
