Hey Mul, Very cool! I wonder if it's because Moonlighting borrowed from the old movies? So that's why we like the classics and ML...a lot of the same elements. And Br and Cyb rule, of course, being a pretty big reason Very interesting that we all share similar interests. ~Kara

Name : Elvira (I'm just going to stick with that) Age: Old enough or too old, depending on your perspective . Location: California Job: Web author. Likes: Travel, reading, photography, art, films, many arts and crafts. Kind of Music I like: Heavy duty Classical and film music. Favorite Singers/bands: Los Angeles Philharmonic. I don't really think I have a favorite "band." Favorite composers include: Ennio Morricone, Jerry Goldsmith, Richard Wagner, Aaron Copland, Edvard Grieg. Favorite Actors: Too many to count. A few favorites are: Gary Cooper, Tom Berenger, Mel Gibson (especially his earlier work), John Garfield, Will Patton, Clive Owen. I am starting to appreciate Bruce Willis more, but am most fond of his "Moonlighting" era work. Favorite Actresses: Too many! Audrey Hepburn, Katherine Hepburn, Pam Grier (just saw "Jackie Brown," what can I say? She was fabulous), Susan Sarandon, Margaret Colin, Sandra Bullock. TV shows : Due South, Moonlighting, VR.5, The Invisible Man (Sci Fi Channel version), Stargate (both series), many of the Star Trek series, The 4400, 24, Misfits of Science, Now and Again. All-time fav (nothing will ever top it) show: I love too many TV shows to pick just one. They all fill a special "slot" for me. Moonlighting fits into the "romantic comedy" favorite, Due South is my favorite "Buddy" series, and so forth. Fav. Movies : Road Warrior, Star Wars (especially the 3 with Hamill/Ford/Fisher), Psycho, Blade Runner, Sin City (new favorite--brilliant visuals!), Local Hero, The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes, The Best Years of Our Lives, Greenfingers, and so many, many, many more.

babyhayes—hey, great! Another Due South fan!
The first three seasons of this show are out on DVD. I hope the last season will come out on DVD soon.
The first two seasons were with CBS, and had David Marciano as Ray (the Mountie's cop sidekick). Then CBS cancelled the show and I assumed it was dead in the water. But apparently, about a year or so later, it was revived (thanks to star Paul Gross's efforts) but they could not get David Marciano back fulltime. Callum Keith Rennie (I think that's how you spell his name) played Ray for the last two seasons. I'm really glad that it's come out on DVD. It was a great show. (Loved the dog!)
Paul Gross has done okay for himself—he made a movie called "Men with Brooms" which was pretty funny, and he seems to have pretty steady work. I don't know what David Marciano or Callum Keith Rennie are up to, but presumably they're working as well.
