Just wondered which episode was the first one you ever saw and what were your impressions whilst watching it? Did you all love it straight away, or did it take a bit of getting used to? I realised the first episode I ever saw was "Dream Sequence" and I really enjoyed it but had ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA what Moonlighting was all about. I remember then really liking "My Fair David" but then for some reason didn't watch for a while, then when I did again I commented to my mum that : "For a detective agency they don't do much detective work do they?" I was slightly bemused by it all! Then I "got" it somewhere amongst Season 3 and was hooked after that, possibly the Maddie/Dave/Sam thing helped out there?! Ok, so they are my thoughts...how about you guys?

The first time I ever saw ML was My Fair David, but I was just flicking through channels and didn't catch all of it. The next one I caught was Atomic Shakespeare and that got me hooked.

The first episode I watched was Gunfight in the So So Corral when Moonlighting was been rerun on pay tv. I didn't really get into it, the next episode that I watched was It's a Wonderful Life (not sure why such a huge gap). I then became obsessed with the show. Unfortunately after finishing airing the show in its entirety TV1 never showed it again. Five years later and I have finally been able to watch the first two seasons. Hope season three gets released...

I can't remember which episode I watched first, as it was soooo long ago and due to my extreme age my memory has mushed them all into one memory of Moonlighting circa season 2;
* Trying to work out what each one was saying during the overlapping dialogue...what the!? * Thinking, ooh, this David chap is rather good looking..yum! * Laughing at David A's hangovers and crazy lifestyle * Wishing that they would just sort themselves out and kiss (then they did!!)
I do remember very clearly when "Lunar Eclipse" aired though, I felt cheated, empty and annoyed. No amount of clips at the end could make me feel anything had actually been resolved!

My answer is really boring. I watched the Pilot episode when it aired for the first time and watched all the other episodes as they aired. Nothing special about that at all except I have been a long time fan.
I really enjoyed watching the relationship develop as it was intended in the order of progression....although 5th season certainly seemed to revert back to some of the iciness and distrust of the very first episodes. What were they thinking with that??

Same here, Cindy. I tuned in to the pilot thinking it might be a neat detective show and boy, did it turn into something else! ;D

Another "saw it from the start" fan. As I mention on another thread, I was on vacation when the pilot aired (and the ads were so compelling I sure didn't want to miss it), so I asked my sister to tape it on her VCR. ("Yes, I am looking up your dress" was a line I remember from the ads, I think.) I watched the pilot in a motel room, thought it was fun , and wanted to see more.
