I'd appreciate some help identifying an episode, from one of the last two years, in which the two of them walk into a house and are attacked by birds flying around. I'm pretty sure that scene occurs toward the end of the episode. Also that it takes place after M's return from Chicago.
Thanks to all for help. ;D

I remember that scene too. It was so funny! The guy had tons of parrots, and they kept landing on David, and Maddie was squealing. They had just figured out that that guy was bad, and went to confront him I think. I'm sorry I don't know which one it is, but thanks for reminding me of a funny scene!

I remember the scene and I think there were some outtakes/bloopers at the end of the episode. That was a funny scene. I think maybe it was a season 5 episode but I can't remember which one. May have to go through my tapes again. I don't watch the season 4,5 episodes as much. I'm sure someone else here on the board probably know the answer though

I believe it's from Between Yuk And A Hard Place. The bloopers of that are funny also.

Yep just to confirm it is Between A Yuk And A Hard Place, is soon followed by the slightly bizarre hot air balloon chase. Love the bit with the parrot on David's/Bruce's shoulder, good bit of acting from the bird!

Love the bit with the parrot on David's/Bruce's shoulder, good bit of acting from the bird! Thanks for bringing up the 'balloon chase'. Wasn't that weird. And was it this one or the following ep, where they chase the guy on foot, then Maddie jumps on the back of a guy's motorcycle, and David follows on a unicycle. Geez Louise! What were they thinking...I don't want to make negative comments. But...it's sad to think how the show just fizzled - when it could have ended on such a great note. But I guess by then, it was too far gone. I'm still sad about it.

I believe the bicycle/unicycle scene is from Color of Maddie but i may be wrong. Someone want to confirm this? I am still sad too and it's like almost 20 years since this show ended. I will never get over how it ended.

:-[I guess I must be in the minority, but I loved when David was on the hot air balloon, and I liked some of the off the wall humor like the unicycle. However, I can't remember how it ended. Were they just holding hands in the church? I seriously don't remember how their "relationship" was in the end.

Their relationship was a little wierd at the end - not how we wanted! Yes they just held hands in the church, no kiss or anything like that. Really sad. And there were some odd chase scenes in Season 5, seem to remember one with a lipstick and lips and an army tank?! Hmm. I have to admit I quite liked the hot air balloon at first, as I liked the mattress jumping one but the more I watch them the more they seem to drag on - all I want is D & M sitting down talking to each other/kissing/hugging AND NO MENTION OF "PALS"!!!!!

Eww, that is bad. I didn't remember them referring to eachother as "pals", but we all know they were crazy for eachother. I guess we just have to end it in our head that they are together. But wouldn't it be so cool to have a "reunion" epi and we could see where they are now? I would love to see them married, with a couple little Davids running around.

Yep just to confirm it is Between A Yuk And A Hard Place, is soon followed by the slightly bizarre hot air balloon chase. However, this scene is actually GREAT as it allows us more viewing of those heart boxers, so I shouldn't really complain about it too much should I?!
