Hey everyone,
I am getting cabin fever (stuck becuase of the hurricane), so i thought I'd start this question-
What is your favorite scene with David and Maddie?
Favorite comic scene? Favorite scene with sexual tension (there are ALOT to choose from in this category) Favorite overall scene throughout the entire series?
Ashton:)

Wow, how difficult is this one to answer?! I'm going to answer straight off the top of my head and then probably come back later when I've thought of more! My favourite scene with sexual tension would have to be the garage scene in Witness, purely because they FINALLY kiss - passionately. Although I like the sexual tension in Dream Sequence too, but that is not strictly "real". Favourite comic scene, hmm, not sure, maybe David singing "Respect" in The Next Murder You Hear and then Maddie finding him on the back of her door the next morning. Think might have to go research that question tho! Favourite scene altogether is hugely difficult, have not seen Season 3 so no doubt some brilliant scenes there....can't wait!!!! Sorry, different thread that one. Nope, can't think, need to go watch!!!

I just realized I didn't answer any of my own questions!!
I will have to come back to two of them...but my favorite scene in the entire series is in the episode Maddie's Turn To Cry when she goes over to David's apartment, and he hugs her and then they kiss. I thought it was a sweet moment in their relationship, and they finally agreed on something!!!
One joke I absolutley love was in Portrait Of Maddie- when Maddie comes back into the office and David says Dipesto's been so upset she's answering the phone in prose... I laughed my butt off:)
I'm off to sleep, I'll answer the other questions in the morning:)

For me, one of the funniest scenes is the chase at the end of "Yours, Very Deadly," where pandemonium breaks out at the post office. David winds up pushing the canvas cart, into which Maddie plummets, and our boy says: "Always wanted to end an episode with her legs in the air..."

This is a really hard question. I'll start with the ones that come to mind first, will probably think of others later.
Comic scene: love the scenes at the beginning of My Fair David, the shake, body hair line, David walking behind Maddie making faces. Sexual tension: Symphony in Knocked Flat when David arrives at Maddie's house and in the limo. Love that scene. All time favorite: just cant decide on this one. The garage scene in Witness, end of I am Curious, scene on the truck in David's house in Maddie's Turn to Cry, then there's Big Man where all the David and Maddie scenes are great. I just keep thinking of others but will stop there for now. ;D

This scene, from "Portrait of Maddie," is a bit of a cross between a ribald joke and a little tension, as well: When Maddie has to tie David to the railing, notice how she gives a little extra twist to the cloth. Then as M. crosses the room to the chair, notice how David doesn't begrudge himself a chance to, ah, enjoy the view along the way.

ok, totally off the top of my head. I'll probably have a better think about these too.
Fave scene with D&M: The 'I'm glad you're my partner, partner' scene at the end of Lady in the Iron Mask.
Fave comic scene: in Funeral For a Doornail where the tramp starts to 'clean' the windscreen on the Beemer and Maddie is going 'David, why is that man rubbing his filthy clothing on my car?' and then they go into the adult bookstore. That's hilarous.
Fave sexual tension scene: The hotel scene in Big Man when he comes home to find her in his room.
Fave scene overall: In Symphony in Knocked Flat when he comes to pick her up at her house and gives her the rose.
Love Gem

Ok my turn: Fave comic scene: i love the limbo scene in My Fair David. Fave overall scene of the whole series: the end of I Am Curious Maddie, still gets to me like nothing else after all these years Fave sexual tension scene: The kiss in Witness For the Execution or the first scene in David's hotel room in Big Man On Mulberry Street.

"Wrong play!"[/i] --A constant refrain in " Atomic Shakespeare." The episode is filled with crazy in-jokes and references to everything under the sun. Whenever somebody seems to go off the map into another plot entirely, they get the above yelled at them. ;D
