Oh Vincent...he was a favorite character actor of mine, as well. Very sad news... To his family, Allyce Beasley and his son Andrea Joseph....our hearts go out to you. Rest in Peace, Vincent...

MSNBC (an American cable station) had on its 12:00 a.m. Wednesday broadcast of "Countdown," a news/commentary show with Keith Olbermann, a nice tribute segment to Mr. Schiavelli. Olbermann called him "one of the great character actors of all time." They showed some clips and talked about his film roles as well. It was brief but very moving and respectful.

Yes I saw this in yesterdays papers. So sad. Such a good actor too. I loved him in Next Stop Murder...
