OK peeps, so I thought I would just write down my thoughts from my very first viewing as a relatively new fan. I haven't read any other posts on this episodes but here's what I thought: Firstly, the episode felt about 20 minutes long it just shot by, the usual quick dialogue and banter was all there. Thought Cybill/Maddie looked even more stunning than Season 2 if that is possible. Loved the comment about Bruce/David's hair been about 20,000 hairs too short! Bless! Onto the storyline, I loved it. I liked David Addison Sr but is this the only episode he is in? I would like to see more of him and the whole relationship Sr and Jr have with each other even if it is "oil and water". Shame Richie wasn't in it a bit more too, I love him. Thought it was hilarious that David arrogantly presumed he would be an unforgettable date for Stephanie ;D and as it turned out he was VERY forgettable and to make matters worse the guy she remembered was indeed his father. Ouch! Nice end to the episode too, with Maddie and David dancing together, always good! Right, well, as I say it seemed to disappear rather quickly that episode so I'm pretty sure there are 10,000 things I missed. But anyway, onto the next one.....!!

I was thinking exactly the same about Maddie. I have just been watching her with my mouth open. She looks absolutely gorgeous. Perhaps the lack of diffusion and the break between seasons?

Couldn't agree more... she never looked better! I've often wondered why they changed her hair back to the old style later in the season. She looked AMAZING like that!

I love hearing what people think of eps. seeing them for the first time. I watched them when they aired in the 80' then again when Bravo aired them and love them just as much if not MORE now. It's good to hear they are loved just as much by new viewers 20 years later. ;D And yes Cybill looks beautiful here, and Bruce I think looks even better this season

Both look great. I just don`t understand why Maddie was leaving him in the bathroom taking a cab home. Normally she doesn`t stop asking until she gets an answer!!

I know, poor Dave. She just left him there I love the next scenes where you can see she is really worried about him. Very sweet.

I also thought it was a shame David's mother was never in a show. She would have likely been very funny and interesting, it just stands to reason! ;D

I love this episode, from the first scene with David in his Mexican outfit, to the end where they are dancing to Sweet Love.

I agree. First scene is hilarious. " Ola! Gringos and gringets! " ;D ;D

I like the entire episode, but I gotta love the 'I missed you' Maddie says to David, and her sweet look.

Did anyone notice that Maddie tells David she will take a cab home so presumably David has the car. He doesn't come into the office the following day yet Maddie goes down to the garage when she leaves work....shouldn't she have taken a cab home since David had the car??

There are quite a few continuity issues in Moonlighting. I think many of them occurred when they filmed scenes following the script, and then eliminated parts of the script and/or failed to film them.
The hectic pace, and the last minute editing seemed to add to the confusion. Sometimes it can be a game to watch an episode, and find the editing and continuity problems.....eg the "disappearing" shaving cream in Witness.

I always wondered about that shaving cream.... Anyway, it's a miracle there aren't more continuity problems with all the "script at the last minute" moments they seemed to face.
