David: Are you going to tell me you didn’t plan for that to happen? That it was spontaneous, an act of passion? I know you better than that, Maddie Hayes. You don’t believe in spontaneity, and you damn sure don’t believe in passion. So... it was spontaneous? What do you think about it? I think that Maddie don’t believe in spontaneity but however she is spontaneous. She cries, she slaps David. At first she say something then regret. She throws objects by window! It's not spontaneous? I think that she's most spontaneous woman on the world ;D

I agree, she has been spontaneous a lot of times uptil this point. The slapping and phone-throwing in the Pilot is definitely some proof of that It could be she wasn't like that before she met her match (dear Dave), and like to think she hasn't changed because of him. He couldn't possibly had made an impact on her which caused her to change her manners. That's my explanation, I'm not saying it's a good one.

I just think she thinks (what a sentence ) spontaneity is not good thing and she tries not to be like that. But everyone is spontaneus sometimes.
