All I have seen so far is the info reported on Moonlighting Strangers. Cybill and Roger Director have done audio commentary on Maddie Hayes Got Married and Ron Osborn, Jeff Reno and Allan Arkush have done audio on Come Back, Little Shiksa.

My guess would be the expense. This set seems to be scaled down quite a bit....less pictures, less extras in general.
Perhaps all the ML DVDs have not brought in the revenue expected.

Do you think so, Diane? But it's only your guess or you have heared something about? I have read that B & C did some work together, not a movie but something for the fans! Do you Know if is that true?

Just my educated guess about the money!
Sorry, I would have no knowledge of Bruce and Cybill working together. I do know that information comes from one of the gossip tabloids.

If I may intergect my two cents here...and it's just mho...but if C&B were going to do a commentary together, it should have been on any ep in seasons 1-3 [especially 3] because of the storyline and content at the time. We got a 'reunion' and that's great. But to have them do a commentary on any ep in season 4 and especially season 5 would be a waste of time on their part. Their characters were in two different places, not in a relationship, and the show was going down hill. I wouldn't want a commentary on any episode with the two of them at this point. It would be a waste of time. And from what someone said recently who has season 4 allready, Bruce sounded unenthused the whole time. However, it would be great to get the main cast together for a 1/2 hour reunion for the 5th season set. A & C were so fun to watch as they reminisced about their time on the show. That's the energy we need in the room. It would be loose, and I'm sure hilarious to watch. Anyways...just my two cents. And one more thing...I'm STILL holding out for a HUGE gag reel.

Just one thought about the scaled down version for Season 4 - it might have something to do with revenues from the past seasons, but I think it might have more to do with the fact that Lions Gate might not expect Season 4 to sell as well as the other seasons given ML's downhill slide after season 3. They probably didn't want to invest more than they had to - just my opinion.

Well if season 4 is not expected to sell as well, what to expect of season 5? Maybe a last reunion of C&B in those dvds would be good to sell. And I'd love to have it.
