Yesterday I saw this wonderful episode with the audio comments and I was amazed with the problems they had the day they rehearsed the funeral scene. The question is, what exactly look do you think Cybill wanted for Maddie to look at Tess, the different point of view that started the argument? - A disgusting one? - A 'funny-not-sincere-at-all' smile? -... Any ideas/news about it? By the way, in other posts you talk about a new section in this site about continuity mistakes, etc. Yeah, I suggest another one: the 'they did it this way because we're talking about the 80s'. For instances, the Dipesto: Is he gay? Maddie: Mr.Addison??? ... Dipesto: He was married? Well, it's better than gay. You can take it as 'it's more exciting news' or you can take as it is, as, well, better an exwife that he being gay. Today it would sound so strange, don't you think? And we find other examples during the series. Or maybe it's just me!

Ok I'm very late responding to this post but I was just listening to the commentary on this and would love to know what look Cybill thought Maddie should be giving in that scene where she sees Tess for the first time. Does anyone know the answer to this? I read her book many years ago but can’t remember if she mentioned this. Also when I was watching All Creatures before this I noticed how her hair looked more like it does in Blonde and wondered if it was filmed after this episode and according to the commentary I guess it was as he talks about the "priest" episode that they shot after Big Man. Wonder why it was aired first? Or is it just out of order on the DVDs?

Also on this commentary, think it was this one, he says they shot a screen test of the 2 of them dancing and that he thought it was even better than the scene they shot for the pilot. Is this available somewhere out there? I would so love to see that!
