Loved reading about your experiences doing the commentary. Sounds like it was a hoot. ;D Thanks for sharing.

Absolutely loved your commentaries! Sounded like you had fun doing them too! It's almost scary how mediocre ML-minds think alike sometimes, you said what I was thinking, and then some.. I learned a lot! The decorum-line is sooooo Maddie. I also rewind to listen to D&M's overlapping dialogue: now I'm gonna listen to what Maddie says, then David ;D And shaving cream in a bag tells you...what?? That noone's home? ;D BTW, the blooper where David/Bruce meets a man on the floor, and then cracks up must be from Next Stop Murder. It was where I recognized that man from anyway??? And am I wrong if I also thought that the "I hate not knowing where the next pay check is coming from or if the next phone call is somebody angry at me because I haven't paid a bill" is from Money Talks, MW? I'm not sure about this (and quoted from memory), so I'll stand corrected if someone is.

I'm not sure about this (and quoted from memory), so I'll stand corrected if someone is. I'm sure you're right about it. I think we all realized it as we were recording, and decided to keep moving rather than bog down the commentary with a correction. We talked about it immediately after and I think the consensus was that if that's the worst screw up, we could live with it. ;D I'm embarassingly terrible with episode names, so I shut up and deferred to the experts, who did a terrific job covering my memory-impaired ass throughout. Edit to add: Thanks all, for the kind words!

And a terrific job it was! I could post about a million things you said that made me LOL, but I won't. Gonna watch it again instead! Thanks for doing it and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we'll hear more from you on season 4(&5) DVD's! ;D

Yes it is a fantastic commentary girls, so much fun! Particularly loved the bit where you see things from David's perspective and it shows clips where Maddie is being nice to him and the commentary consists of "Awwwww!" "Ohhhhhh, so sweet!" - it was EXACTLY what I was saying at the time. So thank you!!!

I'm watching the DVD in a rather leisurely fashion, savoring the moments. I usually watch one show per week and this past week I watched The Straight Poop, this time with the commentary. WHAT A GREAT DEAL!
As mentioned in an earlier post, it was cool to hear others with the same opinions as I with some of the clips (the shaving cream deal is a classic). Also there were many insights that I was previously unaware of.
I never heard of fans being able to do the commentary on a DVD set and I think that allowing you guys to do this as a partial thank you for all your hard work was a nice touch. Heck, I'd love to hear you do the commentary on ALL the episodes! It would be interesting to hear the commentary from a bunch of male fans and compare/contrast their views with the ladies versions.

Kudos to all the fans who did the commentary. Y'all were awesome. As I listened to this commentary, I realized that fan commentary is an absolutely brilliant concept for tv dvds. I hope that more and more tv dvds will try the concept. I only wish they would have brought y'all back for some episodes in the later seasons.

Just listened to the commentary--as someone who wasn't around when the show first aired, I really appreciated all the details about the rumors that surrounded the show's production. It's weird to think that TV actors for a one-hour dramady would get as much tabloid attention as it seems they did--but then again, perhaps Bruce and Cybill were just that much larger than life, eh?
Bruce having a posse, though? REALLY?
Totally followed your gals' train of thoughts, laughter, aw moments during the episode 99 percent of the time (I was so with Hazel when she complained about the Gillian scene, LOL.) It must've been a blast to do. Great that you got the chance to.

I was listening to this commentary again and it was so much fun. It got me thinking how great it would be to have these lovely ladies, or any of the other great fans here, make commentaries on more episodes. Maybe a podcast where we could listen and watch along on the DVDs. I know that would be a lot of work, but how fun would that be!
