WARNING. SPOILER If you don't have the dvds or haven't watched Memories of Moonlighting (I think), don't read any further. I have to tell you I was shocked, horrified and so, so disappointed to find out that it was not Cybill and Bruce rolling around on the floor, but body doubles. Ok, I knew he had a broken collarbone and she was pregnant but I really wanted that passion to be theirs. Boo hoo hoo.

I feel the same way. I heard about it before, but nevertheless, it rattled me for serious. I can understand why, with his busted shoulder and her condition, but that really shattered the image of the whole thing and I had to reset my mental picture so I could say it was the story again.
There's no business like show business. And thank goodness. ;D

I was really shocked when I heard in the commentary that they used body doubles for some scenes in this episode. Whenever I watched this episode before, during these almost 20 years now, I never realized the use of body doubles. But when I rewatched it after seeing the commentary it was obvious that they used doubles in the garage scene and also during the love scene on Maddie's carpet. Before I was always so captured from what I was watching that I didn't notice the doubles. It was a strange and sad moment for me knowing it and I must admit I would have preferred not knowing it...

I was shocked too. What also shocked me was the fact, that they didn`t really where in bed and that the picture was only turned. It looked always so real and hot.

It´s definitely interesting, but I would have preferred not knowing it either. I mean, that it was doubles on the floor. If noone had said it, I don´t think anyone would have noticed it. There is just to much excitement in the scene for anyone to even reflect about it. Whoever it is sure looks like them from the position(s) they are in.
The bed-on-the-wall scene, hope you know what I mean, is so sweet that it doesn´t matter how they did it. I read that David said "I love you" but that they cut it out. Could it be that he said it in the scene we get to see, but they just edited the sound out? His lips are moving right before the show ends. I´d like to imagine it to be so.

Oh, he says it alright. ;D I watch on my computer more often than not and you can clearly see him mouth the words. My heart still skips a beat every time I see that.

Oh, I so wish they'd let us see the version with him saying it, so we could hear it. I wonder if it exists anywhere.

You can see him build the words with his lips. I read an interview with Bruce a long time ago where he told that he said "I love you" in this scene but the edited the music over his words so you can´t hear it. That would be great great if there would exist the non-music version somewhere...
