That is funny. Have you ever noticed all the scenes in the elevator too on Medium? JKalen, you are so right, it is hard to lead a normal life w/ ml everywhere. Oh Bluevelvet, Medium this week also reminded of ml the way they set up the story (kind of), The show had Molly Ringwald in it and we went through the episode trying to figure out the "case."So, what did they do at the end? Allison and that cop, with the DA, were talking to Molly about it in the office. I am probably making no sense right now...anyway, maybe I always have ML on the brain. Speaking of overlapping dialogue, I thought I spotted some between Allison and the DA too, while they were walking down the hallway to the elevator.
Medium is fantastic for "Spot the link to Moonlighting" isn't it? We just had the one about the 'peanut' in Allison's brain - I was so waiting for the "peanuts envy" joke (as in pianist envy from Atomic Shakespeare).......sadly it never came
Bluemooner you have totally read my mind about the elevator scenes!
Oh and also in the last episode, Allison had forgotten where she parked her car which makes for a scene in an.....underground garage - yay!!!!

Have you seen "The O.C." episode on Thursday? I couldn't believe it. The writers definitely copied some elements of it from Moonlighting#'s "I am curious Maddie" and "To Heiress Human"! Two of the characters were having a fight over their relationship and she tries to slap him, then he grabs her hand just like in Moonlighting, sparks fly and the love scene starts. The next scene you see is how the two are in the bed and she says "We have to make a pact". The pact is about another issue (fighting more often b/c this will lead in the opposite direction at the end) but in my opinion the writers know "Moonlighting". Isn't that weird?
Oh my! I do remember that scene from the O.C. I watch the O.C. , actually missed some eps in season 3 but still one of my fav shows. Though, they had to say goodbye too.
I think you are talking about Seth and Summer, right? Now it makes sense because I'm rediscovering Moonlighting and that scene in the O.C. , back then I didn't think that it was a reference to ML at all! Good catch, mlbestshowever. The writers were definitely inspired by ML.

has anyone seen the Medium episode, "Four Dreams?" it's the one w/ the cartoon dreams. there were a couple of ML elements--Joe says, "I think not. " and also, "p*%$#d off becomes you." then there was a scene that so reminded me of maddie's turn to cry. Detective Scanlon was lying in his bed (it looked like the shot of david in mttc) and then instead of a knock the phone rang. oh, and since he was hurt by his girlfriend, he slept w/ another woman. hmm.... i don't know maybe it's me all ML obsessed. i have to see that oc episode!
