I wonder if there are any subtitles in dvds. I checked it out on Amazon.com but couldn't see any. I guess there no subtitles in European versions either? I think they haven't been released in Turkey yet. Maybe they'll never be... I'm asking because I'm planning a Moonlighting marathon with my mom and she would appreciate Turkish subtitles. But that's just wishful thinking... I suppose?

Hi Alchera. Welcome to the boards. I have been reading your posts with interest. As far as subtitles go, I have the Australian release of Seasons 1 & 2 which unfortunately have none of the extras like commentary etc but do have English subtitles. I gather that we must be only ones with subtitles available. They are not always correct anyway as I've watched a couple of episodes with subtitles and what D & M are saying is not always what appears on the screen. Anyway that's my bit of input on subtitles for what it's worth. Good luck finding some for your Mum.

On the European version(region 2) there are subtitles in Swedish, Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, English, Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese, Frensh and German. No Turkish, what I can see, sorry. I used to watch them with English for hearing impaired, since that was the only way to see what they were actually saying. Like funkycat said, the subtitles aren't always correct. :S

Thank you for the welcome funkycat Nice to be here. And thank you Johanna. Too bad they didn't include Turkish, because they usually do (Turkey is also Region 2) , so I guess that means the dvds won't be released in Turkey That's again too bad because I know there are a lot of fans. When I talk to my friends, they say that, for them, it was the best show of the 80s. Also, I've just been to amazon.co.uk but all I could find was the US imports (Region 1), where did you get the European version from? Another thing is of course back then Moonlighting was dubbed and the person who did the voiceover for Bruce (he was a famous actor too by the way but he passed away a few years ago) , well, he was just perfect. Everybody remembers him as Bruce Willis's voice. And when I see Bruce in another movie on tv, but dubbed by another person, it fells as if it is not Bruce but someone else... so if there is any chance for a release in Turkey too... I am sure people will want the dubbed version included. I really want to do something about this. Wish I had a production company or something ... I'd work on the subtitles too, with great pleasure. ;D

I bought them from some online store, can't remember which one right now. But I know you can find them on ebay(in ebay auction or an ebay store)! I however am only watching the region 1(US) dvd's now, cause they have all the extras the region 2's don't. I want all the juicy stuff. ;D

Thank you Johanna. I think I may go for the Region 1 dvds too then, if European version doesn't have all the extras.

I bought the Brazilian release of season 1 & 2. Unfortunatelly, they only come with english subtitles and portuguese and english audio. Would you send me the portuguese subs. so I could watch it in english audio? If anyone else have the subtitles, or know where I can download them, I would appreciate..
