I love love love this episode. I gave it a 10! It is so so funny. Definitely the best of season 4 in my opinion. The hospital scene is hysterical. The kiss at the end SIGH! What's not to love about this episode.

So glad we got a "Rate this episode" thread for this one. It is so funny, seeing Maddie jealous of Terri, the whole scene at the hospital with the kiss ("Will you two just kiss already!"), the droll nurse, its just great, great, great!

I agree, Babyhayes! This episode is terrific! I think it is the best from Season 4 (barring the scene on the plane between David and Mr H).
I love the whole wedding lead-up and Maddie's line about David where she says, "David makes mock like the Swiss make cuckoo clocks!"
Gotta love the bachelor party and the scene where David, Richie, Walter and McGillicuddy (as members of the order of yellow napkin heads) open the door and face the harsh light of day. Anyone who has had a heavy night (Who me?!) would appreciate their vampire like dislike of the sun's rays!!!
I give this one a 10!

Didn't really like this episode during the orignal run, but now seeing it in context, as it were, I think I've decided I really like it. The ONLY reason I give it a 9 is because I don't like the kiss. It seems really awkward to me. Plus, I've kind of always thought that Cybill/Maddie kisses too hard. In this one and "Dream Sequence" she goes at him so hard, I'd be surprised if she doesn't chip a tooth!

The reason this episode isn't my no 1 favourite of the season is because it's so confusing. At the hospital Maddie first tells David that the only reason she came back from Chicago is to tell him she's out of his life, then she wants him to talk, then they yell at eachother (again), then she kisses him. No wonder I'm confused and so is David, but decides the best thing to do is to give her space again, so he will leave. But after Maddie's heart felt speech he changes his mind and decides to take care of the package, both Maddie and junior. "I guess the two of you is still a package deal" A lot of switching going on during this episode but fortunately they're both on the right track by the time the end credits starts. I vote 9 as I understand that it has to be complicated for it to keep me on my toes the way it does. I also admire the actors who managed to make a weird storyline great.

Amazing episode!!!! I loved it .. What's so confusing about it? We already know Maddie is crazy, she loves David obviously & she doesn't wanna admit it .. I gave this a 10 definitely best episode of Season 4 .. & Burt scene? Hilarious !!!!! It's the first time I actually liked him

8? Ok I definitely enjoyed this one more this time around. Don't know what to say that hasn't already been said but here's my current thoughts. I love David and Burt and Richards reactions to meeting Walter. Ok he is a nice guy, but everyone knows he's got nothing on David. I love David's suggestion that they get together to crochet. But even though he knows Maddie does not love this guy he is still hurt. In this one I am glad he has Terry to lean on. Love the black and blue line and "she never laid a glove on me" or something like that. Maddie doesn't even try to hide her jealousy in this one when she sees Terry. I almost feel bad for Walter when he says "you're re not gonna hold anything are you." It's the look she gives him right there. Kinda cold. She knows her charade is over and really kind of acts like a spoiled child. Maddie has always seemed the more mature one but when it comes to relationships shes the immature one in a lot of ways. I do like the kiss although I agree with some comments by others that it was a little awkward. The best most honest scene is Maddies line at the end finally acknowledging that she brought this all on herself. Finally showing some maturity. Very touching end with so much potential to get things back on track. Oh the possibilities.
