This is such a sad episode!!! Ok, I guess we all know Maddie told her parents about the pregnancy, right? So when she suffered the miscarraige, do we know if she actually told them that she lost the baby. I do remember David asking her if she wanted her parants to come and vist but I think that was middle to late of series 5.
Let me know your thoughts!!

Quite frankly I do not remember. Season 5 is not one of my favourites. But I can assume that she told them, since she was always in contact with them (contrary to David and his family).

I would assume that Maddie told her parents, and will all the bad stuff we had to sit through in season 5, I'm glad we didn't have to watch that.
I think it's in "Eine Kleine Nacht Murder" that David buys Maddie airplane tickets so she can go "lay low" at her parents house, after the attack in the garage. That wasn't related to the miscarriage.

It would be actually impossible to see Maddie telling her parents about the miscarriage, because Robert Webber (i.e Alexander Hayes) passed away in 1988

I think he died in May 89, but he was ill for a while and would not have been able to participate in the filming, even if it were planned.

You're right graycav56, he died on 19 May 1989 - 5 days after Moonlighting aired for the last time

I'm sorry to hear that. He was so good as Mr. Hayes and he looked robust during season 4. Were any subsequent episodes "in memory of" for him?
